When you are Podgorica, I recommend stopping for some quick pictures of the King Nikola statue, who was the last king of Montenegro. The statue is across from the parliament building in the upper part of the park. There are actually several tourist spots in the area. Behind the statue are steps that lead to the Ribnica Bridge, which is one of the oldest surviving structures in the city. If you cross the bridge, you will find the ruins of a fort.
