One of the few sights in otherwise shabby Podgorica, it is quite rustic outside and inside there are the usual beautiful iconography that mark the Orthodox faith. There are a few weirdoes hanging around outside but they seemed harmless enough. Worth a visit.

I recommend stopping at the St. George Church when in Podgorica, which is located in a quiet area right next to the major park. The church, while quite small, is amazing beautiful inside and you are allowed to take pictures. The church,which is the oldest in the city, is at 19 Decembar Street and not far from all the tourist locations.

That's a Serbian Orthodox church, of course. Quite small, especially compared to the new cathedral, but beautiful. In a quiet area, on the east side of the city, close to the stadium.Beautiful icons inside.

The church is located just behind the football ground at the foot of Gorica hill and is podgorica's oldest church, it has a 16th century nave with 19th century icons. There is a small shop at the entrance to buy candles religious trinkets.

Simple but very nice old church. Place with history as locals have told us. It is in downtown near main street. We recommend it.

This church is excellent. It is quite old as they have told us. It is beneath Gorica hill which is next to the stadium and just straight forward from main street in downtown. Place is full of history and you also hear about some battles and hero's over there. This is one excellent monument to check in Podgorica.

Церковь сама по себе довольно обычная для Черногории, хоть и приятная. Но рядом с ней есть очень старое кладбище и прекрасный парк "Горица". Совместите все эти вещи для осмотра.

Великое наследие православной страны. Находится в процессе реставрации. Рекомендую к посещению, как одну из немногих стоящих достопримечательностей Подгорицы.

Одна из достопримечательностей Подгорицы, куда нас проводил наш гид Веско - замечательный молодой человек, привет ему из Ростова-на-Дону. Можно посмотреть эту старую церковь из любопытства, тем более что в Подгорице практически нет старой архитектуры - не сохранилась после войны 1941-45 годов. Здесь можно поставить свечи за здравие и за упокой, т.к. церковь работает до сих пор. И, собственно, ничего более тут нет.
