We visit this place quite often then we think we would. It's ~25miles north of I75. Nestled within nice community, its a hidden gem. The park has very few grilling areas and they are available on first-cum-first basis. no personal grills allowed. Recently, they upgraded the kids play area, its nice. Adjacent man-made-beach looks small but I'd always got my personal space. I like to visit late afternoon to avoid picnic traffic. Restrooms are available but not very clean. Not much parking available if you are visiting on busy summer weekend, and $10 for parking. Get your own food as there are no restaurants nearby.
