Great little place/warehouse in the mountains. You pay about 10 bucks and get a glass and 6 small pours to try. The people are great and the staff are knowledgeable. Great for a pint or three and just nice and relaxing like the mountains are. Bring your dogs too as they dig that! No kidding!

We have been there several times and have taken family when visiting us. Just a great place to hang out and meet new people. It's a great way to taste new beer that is being brewed in Blue Ridge.

I really enjoyed visiting this new brewery! My boyfriend and I enjoyed the atmosphere and most importantly the beer! Great beer! The working man beer is nice and smooth. The IPA has a unique taste! The owner is very personable and you can tell he and his employees are passionate about his work. Can't wait for it to be bottled!

They offer tastings. For $10 you get 6 pours of about 8 ounces each. There is no tour and not much to see. There is no real place to drink a few glasses of beers. There are a few seats .... but mostly you have to stand. There is one restroom for the entire place -unisex. Worst of all, this was the most awful tasting beer I have ever had. After 2 pours, I couldn't bring myself to try another. My husband actually poured out most of his second pour. Nice glasses. We will not be back - ever.

You receive 6 tastings in a souvenir glass for $10. You get a full glass each time. They were generous and the atmosphere was casual. Will go again. The octoberfest was yummy.

My husband and I went for the tasting. 10:00 got you a glass and 6 different half pours. They had a fantastic couple from Atlanta playing music. The beer was awesome but the best part was the people. Everyone had a great time. Met people from Atlanta and Lutz, Fl. We will be back every time we are in town.

We discovered the Fannin Brewing Company a few weeks ago and immediately it has taken up "must do" status with Kristina and I. The brewery is located just barely off the quaint downtown area of Blue Ridge on East First Street. Tom runs a great operation and opens the brewery for beer tastings on Friday and Saturday afternoons. $10 bucks gets you a souvenir pint glass and 6 beer tasting tickets. There are typically six beers available at each beer tasting. The beer itself is fantastic though I am partial to Sunrock Ale and the Blue Ridge Lager. There is always an adventurous brew as well. This past weekend it was a smoky bock brew that got my attention. Kristina loves the Blackberry Hefeweizen. One great thing about the beer and its ingredients - Tom goes to great lengths to source his ingredients locally. For example, all of the blackberries were picked from a local farm. At the brewery there is both inside and outside seating with tvs in both areas. This past weekend college football was front and center. Kudos to Tom for putting my Irish on - that must have been tough for a man from Sparty. Two weeks ago there was local music. Always a good time regardless.

Fannin Brewing has a tasting room open on Fridays from 5:30 - 7:30 and Saturdays form 1:00 - 5:00. Located just 3 blocks from Main Street, the tasting room is a great place to try both beers in development, as well as the tried and true brews you'll taste around town. For $10, a visitor receives a souvenir glass to take home, 6 beer tickets and a tour of the facilities. The company brews beers in the German tradition, but with a decidedly American spin. Brews are named for local area landmarks and history - Hiawasee Golden Ale, Toccoa Brown Ale, Chief White Path IPA. The tasting room offers up to 8 beers at one time. There's also a beer garden, and offers ample seating. The brewer, Tom Fennell, is generally on hand to tell you the full story of how the beer came to be. Children and pets are welcome.
