We are spoiled because our first visit to Mercier was 30 years ago when it was a small operation. Now it's like Disneyland for apples, and not really fun anymore. Still, it's hard to beat for locally grown apples which you can pick yourself or buy by the bushel. Every mountain trinket or snack is also available, as well as a café and a hard cider tasting room. Weekends in the fall are an absolute zoo, so try to go during the week if you can.

Cool place to stop even when not in Apple season. Unique gift items. Friendly staff and very helpful. Cider tasting was disappointing, I thought I would like them.

Good breakfast in restaurant. Enjoy their fried pies and Fudge. Apple bread is also a plus. Must see if you are new to the area. Great orchard tours and activities for the kids!

in past years, merciers was the go to place for fried Apple pies. The pies are now no better than the ones you buy at McDonald's in my opinion. I no longer go there,
