They have a great chicken salad sandwich. We usually share an order of onion rings to go with it. If the weather is nice sit on the porch over looking the coarse.

Very good local course, well maintained and great friendly staff. The kitchen and the pro shop are also very good.

The Oaks is one of our favorite places to play golf. Greens are usually in good shape, and this course is challenging without being too frustrating.

The Oaks is a well layed out but challenging course. It is in excellent shape and a lot of fun to play. Challenges your playing ability without overwhelming.

I am a female and like to golf. I'm not great, but I do like to go to the driving range by myself after work and on wknds sometimes. I have never felt uncomfortable here, and I can't say that about all golf courses/driving ranges. I have played the course a few times, and its a good course. They keep it up well. Chicken salad sandwich is delicious at the little restaurant, too. I think overall The Oaks is a great value.

Was working in Atlanta this week and had some downtime Wednesday afternoon and was able to play the Oaks in Covington GA. Very reasonably priced, with nice golf carts and a beautiful layout. The views were great and the greens were solid to put on and to hit approaches. The bar was open for cocktails and hot dogs at the turn as well. Also got to hit some range balls before heading out. The starter actually brought me some extra balls to hit which was nice of him.Overall, this was a great afternoon with a challenging course but still player friendly, meaning that if you hit the fairway, it doesn't roll off into rough. I will definitely go back again when I am in that part of Georgia. Thanks for a fun experience

We played 4 courses in the area and this was the most playable. Greens were in great shape, rest of the course was dormant for the winter. Masters week they charge a bit extra but still fair for a good course.

I agree, the course is not half-bad. However, I'm marking off for the whole experience. I can't unsubscribe from their mailing list and they send me crap all the time. That's just poor practice.

There is nothing to dislike about the way Dick Shultz runs The Oaks Course. Well maintained. Full service with driving range and instruction available. paved cart paths. challenging yet not daunting to the average hacker.

Nice course, great greens! Not to hard of a course, laid out well, fairways were ok. The only draw back to this course is there are no bathrooms or water on the course. I would have rated it much higher if they could take care of these aminitiy issues.

Course was in good condition, greens were uniform and rolled true. But don't give these folks your email address. I got added to their email database operated by "prophet services". It has no reply or unsubscribe function.Too many nice courses around to tolerate annoying SPAM emails.

A sweet Scottish stle course with low genes fee and a welcoming staff. Fun to play but not too long for the beginner or intermediate player.
