this place is just in the dahlonega square and is good value with nice menu, and on some nights they have live music which makes it fun.

If you are into live acoustic music in a tiny venue where you can EASILY meet the artists, the Crimson Moon is your spot! Truly, one of the great coffeehouse/clubs in America. The food is very good, as well, and the location is right on the town square in quaint and beautiful Dahlonega (near the trailhead for the Appalachian, and several stunningly beautiful wineries). Every time I land in Atlanta, I head straight to Dahlonega; and each time I visit Dahlonega, I make sure to catch a show at The Crimson Moon. Don't miss it!

We have been to The Crimson Moon several times and have always had a great experience! They bring in top notch talent. We saw Callaghan last Friday night. She was outstanding! In the past we've seen Shawn Mullins, Jennifer Daniels, Chuck Cannon and others. Their Sunday jam is great fun!The food is very good. I can definitely recommend the grilled meatloaf and the southwest salad. They have a coffee bar and EXCELLENT desserts!Probably the thing we like the most is the warm, personal reception. Dana, the owner, stops by your table to chat. If you've been there before, she remembers you and welcomes you back. You definitely feel that your patronage is appreciated. We also meet the most interesting people there. Often you end up sharing a table and meet the nicest folks. I would definitely recommend a stop at The Crimson Moon for a meal and, preferably, a show. You'll be glad you did!

A wonderful place to visit when in the North GA Mountains. The town of Dahlonega is fun and Crimson Moon has good food, reasonably priced with fun music...usually blue grass, country, folk etc. Some events have a cover.
