I went here with some of my girlfriends while on a girls weekend. The owners and servers were all friendly and informative. The place is beautiful! And the wine is good and affordable. It is a fun way to spend some time with friends!

My husband and I got the $10 tasting (stemless wine glass comes with the tasting). I liked being able to choose which 4 wines I wanted to taste, and the list of wines was easy to understand. We bought a $15 bottle of Vidal Blanc. With a couple of the reds that we tried, we were given a piece of dark chocolate to enhance the experience. We didn't have any of the negative experiences that others had. We appreciated the range of prices. The server was pleasant and offered helpful information about the wines. We will gladly return here! We'd like to return when the weather is warmer so that we can sit outside. Of the 3 wineries we visited, this one was the most reasonable. I'm not a "white" drinker, but I did prefer their whites over their reds. I didn't try any of their sweet wines.

Visited specifically to taste the new sparkling wine - GEORGIS CUVÉE - which was outstanding. The afternoon was relaxed. Additionally, we were met with knowledgeable assistance in the tasting room. My favorite winery in the North Georgia area.

My family and I went there last week and found the owners to be arrogant; they made negative comments about their competitors which I found upsetting. The wine was okay but that was all. We later traveled to three other surrounding wineries and found better wine, better owners and a more positive and comfortable atmosphere.

After tiger, wolf, and frog town, this would rank fourth for us. It's a cozy, smaller setting for a tasting, and some of the wines are decent for those who don't like sweeter wines. It was a good stop to throw into the mix on our wine tour.

We wanted to compare Norton wines from Alabama to Georgia & was sent to this winery from another winery in Helen, Ga. First, wine tasting cost to try thier wines. Limited to 4 or 5 tastings based on which one you buy($10.00/15.00 with glass no stem/stem wine glass). We found that for the taste & price, our Alabama wine is better. The staff was very nice & knowledge of wine was great.

Visited Three sisters for wine sampling and fond that they have a wonderful variety of fine wines. Something for all tastes. The pourers are well educated and can recommend a wine to suit your taste, you will leave with a new appreciation of wine.

Stopped in on a beautiful October Saturday afternoon. Crowd was expectedly large since it's a fall foliage weekend in the north Georgia mountains. Despite heavy advertising for their special fall event, they were NOT prepared. They had one person taking wine tasting sign ups and two doing the pouring. They were slow and rude. After waiting in line for over half an hour and only a couple of people making it in to the tasting room we gave up... as did dozens of other groups. According to the bottle labels, they have no true varietals but all blends including apple and other fruit blends. As we're not fans of flavored wines it didn't make sense to wait and be subjected to such rude treatment for a likely disappointment. Note: We did NOT get to taste any of their wines - they may well be tasty! Beautiful location, lovely outdoor patio.

I must confess we never got to the tasting part. After visiting Wolf Mtn. the rest were pitifully below their level. Dusty gravel roads, and a "main bldg." that looks like a storage shed are not exactly images that invoke Napa, LOL. I hope this is only temporary and the relatively young wine industry in N. Georgia will contine to grow and improve. Asking someone to pay $20-30+ for a bottle of wine requires some ambience and presentation not seen here. The reviews I read sound more like a roadhouse than a winery.

Visited a B&B in the area with my wife. Decided to stop in on Sunday afternoon. We had a great time. The scenery was beautiful, the owners were very friendly and the servers were very knowledgeable. The owners even gave my wife a cutting of a plant that she commented on. Great place.

My wife and I drove to Three Sisters Winery to participate in one of their Swine and Wine Weekends. Some of our family humor includes “Moose and Squirrel” jokes, so we chose a day when the Moose and Squirrel duo was playing. They play great “Vegas-style” music, and we enjoyed the guys immensely. It was almost a perfect Saturday with the exception of a chilly wind. But hey, it’s October, and we were in the North Georgia Mountains. The staff at Three Sisters was very friendly and attentive and gave excellent suggestions during our wine tasting. My favorite is the Chestatee White, my wife’s the Chestatee Red. We purchased a couple of bottles to take home and then bought Big D’s BBQ and ate on the terrace in the sun (my wife was cold). The BBQ was excellent and the atmosphere relaxing. I noticed the resident cat sleeping in its bed while purchasing our wine, oblivious to all of the noise and even my wife when she reached down to pet it. While eating our BBQ, we noticed the cat slip through the door onto the terrace, and it started making the rounds (probably looking for a hand out). It found its way to our table and, eventually, my wife’s lap. She pet the cat while listening to Moose and Squirrel and the purring cat. We could not have had a better afternoon.

Casual, laid-back winery NE of Atlanta has a low key approach and a fun atmosphere. Interesting art, friendly tasters and an outside patio plus a tented deck with live music. Interesting grape varietals make for a unique wine tasting experience.

Family reunion trip to the winery resulted in a wonderful visit--friendly and informative staff and beautiful woodwork.

We were on a family vacation in Dahlonega and wanted to try a few wineries. Three Sisters was the first winery we visited and almost didn't go to others because we had such a bad experience. We visited the winery on a Thursday, so it was not the weekend rush. There were about 5 groups at the tasting area (with at least two to three people in each group) and one person serving. We went to the area and the staff tried to assist us as she had time between groups. Another couple came to the tasting area and one staff member (possibly an owner?) was focusing on that couple exclusively while leaving the other staff member to help the remaining groups. Finally, after standing with my glass empty for quite a while, the second staff (owner?) said, "oh, can I see your glass is empty, can I get you something else?". I said that would be great. The rest of the experience went on about like this with the second staff (owner?) mostly helping one couple and the first staff member waiting on the remaining groups. The wine was ok but we had much better wine at other wineries in Dahlonega. I would suggest skipping this one and trying a few others.

fat Boy Red will knock your socks off. The staff is knowledgeable about the process and makes time to acquaint you. Thanks to Doug and Sharon Paul for their hospitality.
