Fun mini golf course and kept immaculate. it is multi-level so strollers do not work! The woman at the desk did not tell us this and it was precarious. Lots of water that the kids like to splash at too!!open weekends only in the winter. Will definitely do again

I know before the review that road work on I-85 has cut into part of the property so you are right on top of the exit ramp on some of the holes. That said, this place has really gone down hill as far as maintenance goes. It wouldn't be so bad if the went in with a fresh coat of paint & fixed up a few things.

This is one of the best mini golf places in Northern Atlanta. It has a nice water feature running through the course, which the kids enjoy. It also has levels and decent scenery associated with the pirate theme. My kids (11, 13) like to play both courses. The only downside to this place is its proximity to the interstate, so you hear the cars the whole time. However, that's not really as distracting as it sounds. The other consideration is that when it's a hot summer day you can get sunburned here because you are outside and exposed to the elements. We've gone here for many years and have always had a good experience. I should also mention that the arcade area is really small (3-4 games) and not current, so it's not a place to spend much time playing arcade games, although the air hockey table is an attraction.

The course, compared to others in the ATL area is well maintained. With 27 holes it offers some very challenging holds, but on the 18 hole course has a series that are very uninteresting and not very challenging. Mountasia is much more interesting and challenging (3 18 hole courses), but in great disrepair with a churlish staff. We live in Marietta, but prefer to come here.

Years back, we would try to make a monthly trip to this locale, as it had 2 courses running alongside in opposite directions. The interstate (I85) expansion stole property from the business and compromised the courses. It remains the only mini-golf in Gwinnett County. Not particularly challenging, but if you want to whet Jr's appetite for the PGA, start him here as a toddler before going to lessons later on. Good place for younger kids to have birthday parties.

A friend and I made our first visit to this location of Pirate's Cove on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy, but not crowded. It's $9.50 for an adult for 27 holes, which is cheaper than 18 holes at some other courses. There were some challenging holes for adults; for kids, it's very challenging. We had a great time, and we will definitely be back.

It was ok...the staff was friendly, maintained well, although the water was nasty in places and stinky. The course isn't very challenging, great for kids. The lighting is non-existing on the green and it was a bit crowded which made for a wait on every hole. Not a bad place to go..during the daylight.

It's a fun little course. I enjoy golf and so does my daughter. It's not very challenging for older kids, but very fun. The place is very well kept also, I've been to golf courses where this is a big issue, but this place is very clean. The only con is the staff acts like they want to be elsewhere.

The receptionist was very friendly. The park was clean and everything worked. It was overly crowded and you had to wait several minutes per hole. The holes were pretty much the same with very little challenges or scenery unlike courses in Florida and Myrtle Beach, SC.

A very hidden, yet fun adventure just north of atlanta. My two teens and myself visited this after I saw it on the side of I-85 and checked it out.It has the feel of the florida miniature courses, and the atmosphere is GREAT for the atlanta area.We all enjoyed it very much. Its a well thought out and well built miniature golf course..It has 2 sets of courses, and lots and lots of scenery and water!!....I look forward to going back again soon.Something you just wouldn't expect in the location its in,but WELL WORTH THE TRIP!!!!!!!!! If you are in atlanta, take I-85 north to the pleasant hill road exit, turn left and go to venture blvd and turn right, the course is on the right.PLENTY of parking and a wonderful place for family fun!!!!

My son is obsessed with mini-golf and so this was one of our first excursions after arriving in the area. It was close to our hotel and the owner (?) was nice and courteous. The 'course' leaves a lot to be desired, however. It is very no-frills, no-extras. Its basically just carpeted courses with a few rocks, hills and bends; no entertaining obstacles or extras to challenge the player. There are a fair amount of stairs; not stroller friendly or for the aged. There are a lot of places to lose your ball (particularly playing with a toddler and a young child, so they sent us with additional balls which we definitely needed. The course is also situated right next to the interstate so expect lots of highway noise. I did have a bit of an issue with their maintenance -- we went on a weekday when they opened at noon. We arrived shortly after noon and after we began, the staff began pressure washing our course (1 of 2 courses to play). Not only was the noise heard well above the traffic noise, but the fumes from the generator were noxious and the washer was left unattended and spraying our path that we had to walk through while covering our small children. Why that couldn't have been done before opening was beyond me...

This putt-putt course has been around for a long time. The problem is that it shows it's age. It can be fun to take the kids to for an afternoon out. Don't expect all the greatness of a windmill hole, but it does have some neat holes and water hazards. Find a deal site online and pick up some discount tickets if you can.

We visited Pirates Cove a few weeks ago on a weekend getaway with the kids. They absolutely loved playing golf here!! The course is very nice and seemed to be fairly new? Check it out its great!

We LOVE mini-golf and go both locally, and when on trips. This is a very well-maintained attraction, clean and with fun courses. We live nearer to Mountasia in Kennesaw, but Mountasia is so poorly-maintained that we are willing to drive the extra distance to Pirate's Cove. Thanks to the great staff at Pirate's Cove in Duluth for keeping your place so attractive and clean. And thanks for doing Groupons. We have been there many times and appreciate the occasional Groupon!

My wife and I played both the 9-hole and the 18-hole courses for under $20 total. The courses are clean, well thought out, and interesting without being overly challenging. And as Lance commented...take an extra ball with you.
