I had a great hunting experience at Gray Ghost Plantation. The meals, lodging, and the property was outstanding. I traveled and hunted alone, but had an awesome time hanging out with the other hunters at the lodge. Most importantly, the hunting was great. The deer stands were well placed and built sturdy & well maintained. I killed a nice 10 pt that weighed 160lbs. I highly recommend GGP. Wayne provided a great hunt and excellent accomodations.

Hunted the weekend before Thanksgiving. Overall a great fair chase hunt. Accomodations and food were first rate. Limited number of hunters allowed for laid back hunt without feeling like you are crowded. Wasn't peak of rut, but saw deer on most hunts. Stands and shooting houses were well placed and built very solid and comfortable. Was fortunate to shoot a nice 9 point buck and and a big doe the last morning. Would definately do this hunt again.

Troy Tries his very best to get you a bird and is an awesome guide. He does whatever he has to do to make you come home with a bird. The landscape is nice and he knows where the birds will be prior to the hunt, showing effort. We had a 3 day hunt and did very well.
