The wife and I have been going to Reynolds for over 15 years. It is one of the best hidden gems in Atlanta. We have seen deer, owls, foxes, muskrats, hawks, cardinals, copperheads, king snakes, mallards, geese and, of course, turtles. We see more animals in Reynolds than on a dayhike on the in North Georgia mountains. Fall colors are spectacular. Winter is great for seeing birds. Spring brings in many flowers. The staff is fantastic and will answer all of you nature questions. Also, they have classes. I highly recommend Reynolds.

We love this beautiful and calming stroll through nature. The staff is warm and friendly as well as very knowledgeable. Our youngest daughter got married here in a beautiful outdoor ceremony during which they released butterflies (prior approval required). There ids a rent able indoor facility for a reception and ceremonies on the deck over the turtle pond are quite spectacular. also there are pavilions for family gatherings and even a house and meadow you can reserve. Stop by you will not be sorry.

Great place to walk in nature. You can walk you dog on leash as long as you be sure to clean up after them

I regularly go to Reynolds Nature Preserve. It is amazing that such a gem is hidden in Lake City. It is a forest with a few lakes in it and lots of trails. The place is pretty serene and there are a lot of places to sit and take it all in. My favorite part is looking out on the lake and pond and seeing the turtles swim by. The trails are about a 1.5 - 2 mile loop but there are multiple loops to keep it interesting. The trails are well maintained. The edge of the park connects to the Morrow Trail system, so that is a great way to extend your hike. I recommend this to anyone passing by.

My son is 18 and we have gone to this park since before he was born. He LOVES it. There are hiking trails, ponds with animals to feed, and even bees in a hive inside glass to watch. This is a great family time, and it is fun for bringing visitors. The location is great because it is near several stores and near the interstate.
