gold mines of helen

It was very nice and we found a lot of gems. We picked the sapphire, emerald, and ruby bucket which had so many in there of all different sizes. There were other gems like turquoise as well. We ended up collecting two bottles worth from one bucket. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth doing.

This place has no other word but A totally mixed thought I was starting to wonder if my kids would find anything! The staff was rough and they were mad at the thought that they had to be their Sorry that is not my problem we were just their like anyone else! but they are the nicest when you are paying for about 30 minutes of looking for apparently nothing!

They likely won't even be in business very long but don't bother with Duke's Creek Gem Mining in Helen, GA. Owners were flat out rude, clearly uninterested in our business and frankly just odd. Go ten minutes down the road to Gold 'n Gem Grubbin' in Cleveland (goldngem.com). They were all really nice, the property is beautiful, we had a great time and found some beautiful precious and semi-precious stones. They really did us a favor at Duke's Creek by running us off. We had a much better time "Grubbin'"
