Multiple canyon features visible from here, couldn't really find the ruin, but the rock formations, view of the canyon bottom and split were terrific. Met some really nice people there, too!

Another beautiful point to look out upon in Canyon de Chelly. We never get tired of these canyons in the West. Just amazing.

Another of the nice South Rim overlooks that provide excellent shots of the canyon area and the cliff ruins.

You will enjoy the views of these ruins more if you have a pair of binoculars and a good camera. These ruins provide a great introduction to cliff dwelling and how much it must have cost the occupants to reside here.

This is one of the many overlooks we visited at the Canyon De Chelly. My wife and I enjoyed visited this overlook. It was a different view of the Canyon.

Take the time to walk to the edge of the canyon wall to the lookout. The view from there is amazing. I find it hard to comprehend just how long ago these dwellings were build.

There is quite a lot of variety of rock formations in the canyon. The ones at this lookout were my favorite.

So cool how the ruins blend in to the landscape! Go on the rim drives in the late afternoon/early evening--great shadows!

The view is spectacular, the colors amazing and you can imagine how the people might have lived 900 years ago.

It was worth the walk out to the rim to view the rock. I wish we could have gone on a jeep ride through the bottom to see it up close.
