Laurens Halsey leads guided birding trips throughout southeastern Arizona. He has a wealth of knowledge that he shared with us (and this was our second time with him in two years) as we birded from the high country above Portal back through the Madera and Florida canyons and down toward the Mexican border. He is patient and a great companion. We have birded in other countries, and with other guides in the region, but he is by far one of the best.
