Very good Navajo Cultural Center, recommend stopping there on the way to Monument Valley. We stopped in for a short visit and spent almost 2 hours.

This is my third trip to Monument Valley and I don't remember the visitor's center being there. I'm glad I stopped as I'm quite interested in Native American cultures. Others need to stop here as well either in or out of the valley.

We stopped here on our way from Monument Valley and ended up staying for over an hour. The museum is very well done and they have a great documentary on WWII and the Code talkers playing in the museum. I got hooked and watched for almost 30 minutes. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

We had an excellent guide, accompanied by 2 former students - one who drove the vehicle, and the other gave a spontaneous rendition of a song in the natural rock Hogan (dwelling) area of the restricted access part of the Park. We learned a lot about the Navajo culture, as well as viewing the rock formations and petroglyphs.

Keyenta is a very small place with limited accommodation. We stopped at the museum which was very interesting. There is a Burger King next door so you can have a break and then see the museum.
