Nice trail, easy to find trailhead. Upward climb, moderate difficulty. Beautiful views all the way to the top. One of our favorite hikes

My wife and I had never been hiking before and were a bit anxious about trying this, we ended up going to a new trail every day we were there !This was our first one and let me tell you it was great. A good pair of tennis shoes, good camera, and some water is all you need to get to the top. It's gets a little more challenging as you go up but there is never a time where you are having to scale anything. We went up to the top and walked to the other side of the mountain in about five minutes and checked out the views from the other side before heading back down the Doe trail we came up. Allow yourself about two and a half hours up and down at a slow but steady pace. Check out my photos.

I hike this quite frequently. Thanks the switchbacks, it's a relatively easy to moderate hike. Once at the top, you can walk the perimeter and enjoy 360 degrees of Sedona's unbeatable and gorgeous landscape.

This was a wonderful hike. Well worth the little steep haul at the end. We loved that after a reasonable hike you reach the top of a small mesa with gorgeous views all around. You can hike around the top of mesa checking out incredible views from every angle before heading down. It is a super half day hike with suburb views.

It's a 30-45 minute rather easy climb for 365 degrees of spectacular views! This was the most satisfying simple hike I've ever taken.

Two of us took the trail up to the Mesa for the view. It is a switchback trail for just over a half a mile and although steep for small moments, very doable for anyone and well worth the trip. The view at the top from all directions is excellent! Plan to spend two hours for a quick trip - this includes enjoying some time at the top!

Great view to the North and East. The paths on top are not well maintained. My husband did Bear Mountain across the street- not for the meager and I climbed Doe Mountain.

We took the Faye Creek Trail which leads to a little box canyon and it was really pretty--lots of cacti and the birds sounded like they were performing a symphony for us. It's a moderate hike and not too long and very pleasant.

Two thousand feet of elevation gain in under a mile. If you have a fear of heights, you may want to skip this one. At one point we were scrambling on all fours. However, your efforts are rewarded with terrific scenic panorama views.

We wanted a hike that wasn't overly strenuous and would offer us views. The Doe Mountain Trail fit the bill perfectly.Although you climb most of the way, it's a moderate hike and if you take your time it's no problem at all. I'm in my mid-50's and in 'good' shape and found it just fine. A walking pole would be helpful depending on your physical condition. Once you reach the top, it's a wide mesa with 360 views as you walk around it. Great flat area to wander around. We took a snack and enjoyed sitting there and taking in the views. Taking into consideration the hike up and down, spending time wandering, having a snack and taking lots of photos, we were there about 2 3/4 hours. When we were at the top we could hear a flute being played -- how lovely was that?I would do it again.PS: There is an outhouse in the parking lot. A Red Rock parking pass is needed.

Easy to reach trailhead for this climb up Doe Mountain. The climb is for someone fit and able to climb up and over rocks to reach the top. Once on the top of this flat mesa there are unmarked trails around the top with fabulous views. Very peaceful. Took time to soak in the views and enjoy the scenery making the assent and descent with hiking on top over 2 hours. Best early before the hot sun.

I've hiked Doe three times. Fairly easy hike with great views from the top of the mesa. Be sure to walk along the entire mesa for different awesome views.

An medium climb up an interesting trail, with a view at the top that is awesome, but need to mark or at least make note of where you arrived at the top because it all looks the same after a short time wandering around the mesa.

This trail led to a very nice viewpoint where you can see a long ways! This is one of the top 5 hikes with a view in Sedona, in my opinion!

Well worth the trail. There are plenty of areas to wander off trail and not get lost. AMAZING views of West Sedona! Have done this one many times!!
