Ron, the owner, was very informative about his operation. He was brought out Alpacas from the barn for us to be close to. This is a great stop if you want to know anything about Alpacas. The cost of $6.00 per car is the best value we have seen.

Always wanted to pet an alpaca and finally got the chance. The owner gave us a wonderful tour, very informative, and great fun. Got to meet all the alpacas and even feed some. They have a store with the softest clothing I've ever touched-we had a great time!

It was great fun to see the Alpacas at home on their land. The owners are truly people who care about the animals. They spend quite a bit of time taking with you and explaining the process. You get to take photos, feed the alpacas, and shop for goods in the store. Be sure to watch for the signs after you get off the highway. The gps will not get your there correctly.

Wow! What a wonderful place! At $6 per car load (not per person) it is a fantastic price to see such happy and healthy animals! Not only did we meet Hershey (the free roaming alpaca) but we also met the rest of the family. Which included Chewy the potbelly piggy and beautiful Great Pyrenees doggies. We will be back the end of September for National Alpaca Farm Days! Thank you Anna and Ron for the wonderful time!

My family and i went to alpacas of the south west today. We were met at the front gate by Anna, one of the owners. Her and her husband Ron have a great place. They gave us a tour, and I learned more about alpaca's than I thought possible. You can tell all of their animals really love them and that they love the animals. Between the different alpaca's, the numerous Great Pyrenees dogs on site, and the potbelly pig named Chubacca, our family had a great time. They also had a little gift shop with great items. We will return for their onsite fall festival in late September. Great attraction.

My daughter and I were looking for something different to do on our trip around Kingman, AZ and read a Tripadvisor review on Alpacas of the Southwest. We decided to give it a visit. It is a full operating ranch that began in 2002. They have Alpacas with blood lines from Peru, Bolivia and Chile that they have purchased from 5 states, and are very knowledgeable on Alpacas and their fiber, as well as the processing of fiber. Their tours give you a chance to get up close and personal with their friendly Alpacas. We were able to mingle with them and take several pictures. They also have some gorgeous, huge, fluffy white dogs whose breed originates from Russia , a snake-eating pig, and two miniature Sicilian Donkey's. They have a small gift shop where you can buy various Alpaca Fiber products, and some picnic tables if you'd like to bring a lunch. I would recommend it for everyone of all ages. It was a fun and educational experience. Dress appropriately though, as it is a ranch and you most likely will get a bit dirty.

We were able to pet and feed the alpacas. Ron was so informative and you can tell he lives what he does. This is a must, especially with kids. Google maps got us there without any problems and it's close by the exit. I and my son really enjoyed the alpacas and meeting the family who runs the alpaca farm.

Not your typical petting zoo, and a little off the beaten path but well worth it. Don't try to GPS this address—it's very confused. There are signs from the highway near Kingman to direct you. We got a tour from the owner who was extremely knowlegable and friendly. Lots of beautiful alpacas, a pack of huge, gorgeous white dogs, a pair of Sicilian mini-donkeys and even a snake-eating pig! We had a blast. Don't be intimidated by the big gate—well worth the effort.

Alpacas of the southwest was an amazing experience for all of us. I took my two children to visit the alpacas and the owners were so warm and inviting. They even let the kids feed the alpacas..which was the highlight of the kids trip! The tour was wonderful and very personal. The owners are on site and perform the tour themselves which was very nice as they know everything about the alpacas and able to answer all questions. Very inexpensive and exciting trip! We will definetly be back and have recomended that all our freinds go and spend a day with the alpacas!

Our family took a trip to the Grand Canyon and we had the pleasure of stopping by this alpaca farm on the way. It was a great way to break up the driving and let the kids get out of the car and run around. The owners are a very nice couple and provided a wonderful tour of the place, they even have an on site store with beautiful alpaca products within all price ranges. We learned a lot about these beautiful animals!
