I was invited here with my sons daycare group after spending the morning at Blackberry Farm across the street. This is a good basic water park with two slides, a lazy river and a nice sized pool. Nothing huge but the place is good for a hot afternoon.

Big water park and if you are OK with the lines it is great fun. Good assortment of slides, waive pool and lazy river.

We came on a day it had rained, I had family visiting from out of town and thought it would be fun to go. I looked at radar and it showed rain should be over, after arriving, paid went out and they said thunder was heard, 20 min in barn. Ok. Lots of staff walking around talking about how none of them wanted to be in on this day since it wasn't sunny, all figured they would have it off. After a while, I asked if it was possible to just get a refund, I was told yes, since it had not been an hour. Went and got everyone and was then told by a different person, no refund and no pass to come back at a later date, they had planned to stay open entire day. Ok. They let us in water and an hour later say they are shutting early due to weather, pass out vouchers. I thought no one could have vouchers? All in all, it was teens who just complained the entire time about doing their job had no real idea what protocol was. Lifeguards for the most part were serious and watched kids well. Never did make it back to use vouchers since it closes so early and it was a waste of $40Will not go back.

I recently went here with my girlfriend and her siblings and I have to say that I was impressed. The admission was outrageously low and the staff were so friendly! The rides were cool and not too crowded and everyone patiently took their turn waiting and not shoving to the front like other parks. The food was a decent price and I even got to enjoy their funnel cake fries which I have never had before. What's even better, is that they let me bring food and drinks of my own into the park. You won't find that at too many water parks in Illinois. My gf and her siblings had a great time as well I would definitely come here again. I also appreciated how clean the park was and how clean the water was.

I like to come here in the summer. It's a nice place. I enjoy the lazy river. Kids enjoy the sand area, the water play, and the tubes. The food is ok. I like the lay out of the place. Bathrooms are clean for the most part.

Do not expect Ragin' Waves...But expect to have a nice time. It is a great little waterpark. We have two little girls that love the shallow water and the splash area. They also love the lazy river. The adults like the two slides and the lazy river too.Good times!

This water park has two waterslides. On both, you ride in a tube. The waterslides are not particularly fast or exciting - they're normal run-of-the-mill slides. At most waterparks, small children are routinely permitted on this kind of slide when sharing a 2-person tube with a parent. At "Splash Country," there is a 48" minimum height for these slides, regardless of whether children are accompanied down the slide by a parent. This absurd policy makes this waterpark useless for anyone who is older than a toddler but shorter than 48", and by extension the families of such a person.Note that the enforcement of this height rule is sporadic. If you go, you might get lucky for a while, or you might not.

I bring my grandkids here during the summer, I especially love floating down the lazy river. The kids love the two giant water slides and the water works area. The little ones like to play in the shallow area. The food at the consession is pretty good. The area has several huge umbrellas over the tables for shade. There are enough life vests to serve any one who needs one. I am impressed that there are so many life guards serving the river, slides and pool and that they are strict with the rules for safety.

We attempted to go to Splash Country Waterpark on Thursday, August 18, 2011.All the signs indicated that they were open from Noon until 7 PM every day, but after waiting for 30 minutes we were informed that Aurora started school on Wednesday, August 17th, so the water park was only going to be open on the weekends. Take note of this if you are on vacation in August. We don't start school in MI until the day after Labor Day, so we didn't even think about this. From the outside looking in, the park looked wonderful! We are hoping to visit sometime in the future when they are open. I'm giving it an average rating as we don't really know how to rate this.
