We went to the Bluffs to celebrate a birthday and decided to try this place out. It was absolutely gorgeous and had a variety of local alcohol. We got there at 2 and not many people were there at all but a band started at 4 and the place became packed! People were dancing and everyone seemed to have a great time. You can see Bald Knob off in the distance if it isn't hazy out. Beautiful views and had great service. Will be going back!!!

We changed our route home after visiting the Shawnee Hills area to try out this place. But, despite getting there at 12pm (opening time) the winery was still closed when we left 45 minutes later. There was a gentleman in an adjacent building but he didn't know why no one was there. A bit frustrating after going out of our way to visit.

Went on a brewery trail and ended up here to try their beer which is also brewed on site ( Little Egypt). Was totally impressed with the size of the winery and the outside decks that have to be amazing during the spring and fall weather while taking in the overlooking view! The people running this winery were super friendly and made is feel welcome right away! I was allowed to try all wines and ended up falling in love with Jacob's Delight! We purchased 3 bottles to take home... Definitely give this wine a try if you love a sweet red. I have tried several of the wineries in the Southern Illinois area and I often love their atmosphere and possibly maybe one or so of their wines. The Bluffs have totally caught my attention because although I loved this particular wine... There wasn't anything I sampled that I didn't like. It was a fun day and we definitely plan to return! My only hope is to see them add a variety of possible food choices in the future.... But that definitely won't affect my return visit!
