This wonderful little place has such unique variety of old time bits of history. There are two rooms dedicated to dentistry and optometry. There is a hiding place that was used in the Underground Railroad. Beautiful old furnishings and art. Local families have donated many items. One local family member traveled to Alaska during the Gold Rush, and his things are there. You can find him the in local cemetery too. There is a carriage house with the local doctor's buggy, some farm equipment, and other bits and pieces. This is all set in a nice old home that has been renovated with an elevator to accommodate everyone. It has hours, however you can call and let the people know when you will be there. Afterward take a nice stroll down Main Street USA. Such a nice feel to the place, you may even be lucky enough to be in town for an ice cream social with the local band while watching the fire flies. There is a place for donations at the door.
