They are obviously renowned for Dubs Dread, but I'm not much of a golfer, so I'll focus on the clubhouse. They have a nice venue, but it's a bit outdated. They could use with an update.

Food and atmosphere was wonderful. The shrimp was so good that I tried to get more from the waitress. All four golf courses here are also terrific.

Dubsdread is a beast but it is also a beauty! Its hard (17 bunkers on the 1st whole) but its pretty far.

This is definately one of the many courses on my must play list. While I have crossed more then a few off that list it never ceases to amaze me how much work goes into these places come Tourney time!!! I was impressed with the lay out of the course and the condition of most of the greens. The bit of disappointment came with the rough and the bunkers. Not that the rough was too tough, just that it was inconsistant. Same can be said for the bunkers. There were some places where you could loose your ball. I know because I spent a fair bit of time looking for my playing partners ball. Also, on the front nine I had occasion to spend some not-so quatlity time looking for mine. The bunkers were in great shape in some cases and in others the sides were overgrown and I had a ball cling to the rough instead of rolling into the bunker. There were a number of holes where the course workers were cutting the bunkers to make them better, but a number of holes were still uncut/not finished. Well, enough of the bad. This course was a stop on the PGA tour for a reason. That was evident for most of the course and especially on the fairways that were in pretty good shape for early June with such a harsh winter. It is a bit pricey to play here, but I am willing to bet that by now it is in Fantastic shape. The finishing hole is not quite as it looks on TV until you finish and look back when your round is done!!!

Played Dubsdread. Course is in fantastic condition. Lots of sand so be prepared. Greens are small, roll true, have few blemishes, but what would you expect from a course that PGA pro's play. Club house staff isn't the most friendly. Starters are complete opposite; extremely friendly and approachable. Overall glad I played it and paid the higher price, but just so I can say I played. The other course intermingle with this course and are in just as good a shape. Play it once, then play some other courses and see if it's worth the extra dollars to play it again

Cog Hill Country Club has four tracks, however I have only been able to play Course number four Dubsdread. Words can not describe it. If any one has the opportunity to play Cog Hill please don't let it pass you will not be let down...

The course was in good condition but the service was nowhere to be seen. The first day we played we did not see the drinks girl till the 17th hole then she was too busy talking to the Marshal. The second day we saw he on the front before the halfway house then on the back nine no one to be seen again today was very hot and could have done with some water or a cold drink. They have no water coolers on the holes so you better bring some of your own. On arrival no one takes the clubs out of your car or at the end they don’t wipe your clubs down. It’s a same but you get better service from a resort course than an old famous course that saw its last winner of Justin Rose in 2011. 155 dollars is a bit steep for what you get and all that is just a round of golf.

First, the owners and manager are really nice and really good. Secondly, I have the fondest memories of the Michael Jordan Celebrity Golf Tournament for Ronald McDonald House Charites. The courses are beautiful and so well-kept and the bar and restaurant have a fun club vibe. Way to go Nick Mokelke!

Very pricey but nice golf courses. One of the nicer golf courses in the Chicagoland area.I play here usually just once a year at a company outing. Highly recomended for visitors. Though pricey, it is still much cheaper than the courses in Vegas , Mexico, and such.

Great golf, greens are well maintained and the courses are challenging but fun. Just a great place to play.

This golf course has alot of his of history to it. Over the years it has undergone significant improvements and presents a challenage to the average golfer. Anyone of plays golf will want to say they have played Cog Hill.

I have played golf at many top golf course in North America, Ireland and England and most of the time you pay big bucks only to have the course in poor condition. We played the #4 - Dubs Course and it exceeded my expectations. The condition of the course was fantastic. The fairways are lush, the greens are pure although not overly fast, (my guess 9.5) but they did have a lot of rain over the night before we played. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend shelving your ego and play a tee up than normal because you want as high a lofted club as possible into the greens because they are well guarded with very deep bunkers. We plan to go back again on our next trip to Chicago.

Didn't get to play No. 4. No. 2 is a great track and half the price. Very well laid out traditional golf course. Great Chicago style Hot Dogs available at the turn, highly recommend!

Started with having tee time for Dubs moved to #2, for an outing, disappointing club house for a PGA tour facility, charged extra for range balls, old fashioned water fountains, no on course beverage cart, carts look like they have been there since 1980, no GPS.This out of towner expected more with the history of the course. Having said that I would play dubs in a heartbeat if I ever get back to Chicago.

Every course at Cog Hill is in amazing shape, but the legendary Dubsdread is a must-play. A true shot-makers course. The course is tough, but its also rewarding. The elevation changes really add character and strategy to the course, and the scenery is awesome.
