honest abe's tap and grill

Worst experience ever! After waiting 45 minutes I finally went up to the bar to find out where our food was. The family of 5 in the booth next to ours came in after us and received their food before us. I was told it depended on what we ordered. Our order was sandwiches and fries! When our food finally came my burger was greasy and tasteless, the seasoned waffle fries were over cooked and did not taste seasoned at all. My friends Philly cheesesteak was dry and chewy. The restaurant was cold and the bathroom was freezing. Won't be going there to soon!

Very good food for an "honest Abe's" price. You get good home cooked food for a great value. At times the bar crowd is a bit noisy. Friendly atmosphere,- don't let the biker crowd turn you away

This place is a hidden gem. The food was very good and the beers were great! Nice selection. I love it that the music in the bar was not too loud. You could sit in there and have dinner and drinks and not be drowned out! There is a separate dining room and bar area if you are more inclined to eat in there. I hear the steaks are very good. We will try those next time. Have the breadsticks stuffed with cheese! AWESOME. The macaroni and cheese was some of the best I have had.

The food is really good. I tend to get the half horseshoe. It is super cheesy. :) I can't comment on the bar scene as I have only been there once. The are opened later than other bars in Morris because it is across the bridge.
