This Golf course, George W. Dunne National is a hidden gem for the price. Course was in great condition. The course is well laid out with water on some of the holes and beautiful scenery. The people at the course were friendly and courteous. Will definitely recommend this course to friends and family. Beautiful Forest Preserve Golf course for those who want to play a nice course in the Forest Preserves.

Beautiful, challenging course. They also have a well stocked pro shop. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Very cost effective area to visit. People answer questions with out a hurried answer. If your walking around, driving range time, golf time or chatting with an employee, I never have to feel rushed.

We live across 159th Street from the golf course and cannot tell you how beautiful the walking path is that surrounds the golf course. The course itself is beautifully kept and is always filled with golfers when we walk the 1mi., 3mi. or 7mi. paved trail that surrounds the course. So, even though we don't golf, we're still rating it 5 stars!!!

One of the best golf course in the state . Beautiful landscaped. Go on there website to find a deal and tee time. great helpful staff, nice to have a coffee on the outside deck of the clubhouse. nice view from there. The driving range is nice, and has some shade, and benches to relax on.

First off, get a coupon if you can. Don't pay more than 40 bucks. Not that it is not worth more, but they constantly have deals where you can get it for hat price.It's located in a cook county forest preserve (sp?) and plays great.You don't see any street traffic and are completely ensconed inside the wood. (Hole 6 or 7 shows a bit of street to tell the truth)The people there are pretty nice as well. The starter we had a few times, Paul Wechet, was great. He joked with us, and wanted to make sure we were having a good time!This can be a bit of challenge as a course. It's not for beginners, but if you are a beginner looking for the next step up on the south side, this is it. If you are advanced, it will still challenge you.
