First comedian was hilarious. Everything flowed and was good general comedy. At some points, thought I would never stop laughing. Second guy was less funny. Had some good parts but overall not the charisma the first guy had. The headliner Jordan Klepper was just not funny. He was mostly geared toward social topics but obviously was not the right crowd for those jokes. Many very awkward times where the crowd was silent after a punchline. Some people might enjoy that comedy but we did not. Really wish the order had been reversed. Could have listened to the first comedian all night. Even saw some patrons get so irritated they left the show early. Service was very good all night.

It was a very low attended show but comedians were very funny and we had a great time. The manager Chris treated us extra special in celebration of our anniversary.

Went to Zanies in St. Charles (Pheasant Run Resort) with a group of 30 from work. We had a blast and the comedians were incredibly funny. Nothing like a night a laughter. Michelle D does a great job making everyone feel welcome and making sure you have a good time. Waiting staff was friendly and helpful. No bad seats in the house but a bit small so getting there early is a plus. Overall great night of fun!

Great comedy club with no bad seat in the house. Super friendly staff. Avoid any night that features comedian Dobie Maxwell who included in his routine a bit about couples struggling with infertility and what they had to go through. Very inappropriate and in poor taste. This hit way too close to home for us and ended our good time that evening. Would definitely return to Zanies but will always check to see who the comedians are.

Great club, great servers, and great acts. Tracy the manager at Zanies St. Charles is great. She and her staff take care of your every need and they have a great line up of talent. Chris is the best server at this Zanies. Some of the best comedians have performed at Zanies including (but definitely not limited to): Jimmy McHugh, Patti Vasquez, Mike Toomey, Bill Brady, and the incredible Walt Willey! Great place to unwind and laugh and we all know in this day and age, we need to laugh!

Cozy club, it can get crowded so go early if you want a good seat. Stage is big and well lit so everyone feels up close and personal with the act. The drinks as mentioned in another review as "ok" stick to bottled beer. They do offer quite a variety of mixed drinks but are basically more juice than alcohol. Still about par for what you would find at a comedy club in general. Everytime we come here we are not disappointed! They always seem to have great comedians! i really enjoyed the first guy (forget his name, Brian something) he was very funny! The main act was Kevin Bozeman. Very funny guy. He spends much time talking to the audience and gets everyone involved. My ribs hurt by the end of the night! There is stuff to do around the resort if you get there early. Shopping and restaurants even a Ben and Jerry's icecream store. Love the New Orleans theme and the little cobblestone street there. As mentioned, they have moved the restrooms and now you have to walk downstairs to use the bathroom. There is a winding narrow stair case up to Zanies, but I do remember seeing an elevator so I would think it was handicapp friendly. But call in advance if you need special arrangements. The staff is very helpful and very friendly.Great for a night out with friends! We went for our anniversary (didn't tell the comedian that, lol) and had a great time! There are many places to stay close by so it is worth the drive!

My husband and I went with another couple because we had Groupon vouchers which were about to expire. The club is very small and there are rows of oblong banquet tables running vertically to the back of the club. The chairs are cheap plastic. There is a 2-drink minimum for each person. The safest thing to purchase is the bottled beer. One of us tried the wine - it was very low end. Another had a cosmos martini and it was dark pink, way too sweet and warm. The bathroom which once existed in the club had been taken out and it was quite a hike down stairs and down a hallway to get to one. The acts we saw were pretty good. There was a opening act male comedian who obviously knew a lot about St Charles, the area, and Wisconsin. He was very entertaining. The main act was another male comedian who had great delivery and whose jokes were much more complex than the 1st one. Since the acts were very good, I had to rate Zanies overall at Average. Also, for the price, the entire experience was o.k.
