Old Orchard Mall has undergone many improvements over the years, not the least of which is parking. This is a popular mall with lots of shops and several anchor stores, as well as a large variety of restaurants of varying prices. A very enjoyable spot to shop during the summer, but even at Christmas time, it will meet your expectations.

This shopping center has been around for a long time, and despite many expansions, the parking is still poor! After driving around for 20 minutes without finding a space, we gave up and went somewhere else. Go to Northbrook Court, Vernon Hills, Deerfield ot Edens Plaza. Parking and shopping are much better. I still can't fathom why this shopping center is so popular.

We had a ten day stay in Chicago And looked for a Shopping mall outside of the town. In the City Does Not exist something similar. Greatest mall i ever visited during my several stays in the US. All Stuff we're friendly And helpful. The Snack points we're really tasty. I can recomments annies prezels if you want a Snack. Great variety of prezels. The stores we're also very Good. Variety of all price segments. All in all was the Center very clean. Thats also good. I would go there again if i am in Chicago And around.

Old Orchard was my favorite mall back in the day and it still looks good 13-years after I left the area. It probably helped the new owners renovated and expanded the mall in 2006. Marshall Fields (replaced by Macy's) and the food court went away which is too bad. But the crowd is still there and the parking lot is always full.

We arrived around mid-day which was the hottest part of the day, and were looking to shop around some. It was nice to be able to walk around for a bit then stop and jump into a store to cool off. There were a hand of upscale stores such as Michael Kors, Nordstrom, Macys, etc. But, plenty of regular mall stores as well. Everything was displayed nicely with fountains around food areas. Benches under the shaded parts, and the hustle and bustle of Saturday mall shoppers. There was the awful sewage smell in certain parts, but I'm told that’s normal for being so close to the city. Overall it was a nice experience

Chicago winters will turn you into a shut in quickly. It is with great anticipation that I await summer and the chance to be outdoors. The Old Orchard Center is a very upscale outdoor mall, with plenty of fountains and garden areas that make a leisurely walk around it very pleasant.I typically come here to shop at Macy's. I find this location has a better selection of sportswear than the one nearest me, but it is not the only reason to come here. In addition to several stores that are not featured in other malls, it also features one of the few Tesla dealerships. It is really fascinating to sit in one, even if I'm only dreaming.This summer they are also hosting a classic car show every Monday night. Again, another way to enjoy some good weather. May summer never end.
