Had my 3 granddaughters (15, 8 and 5) out for fun. First of all, the place is NASTY! I realize that it is a “farm” however, there is no excuse for the condition of the grounds. Horse poop everywhere (new poop as well as old poop)! I no that horses poop – but shouldn’t it be cleaned up? Inside where you register is dark and smells like urine. There was not any guide for the pony rides for the 8 and 5 year old. I was given a 30 second lesson on how to guide the pony – which was not enough for me to be comfortable. The pony was to be walked in a small area that was about the size of a normal (20’ x 20’) backyard.Rented a helmet – It was cracked up and pieces were broken off. The inside where the sweat band is had some type of crust on it (most likely sweat and dirt mixed together)! Again, nasty, gross and sooo unsanitary. I promptly returned it and got my money back. No way I would put that on any child, let alone my own!The “petting zoo” and I say that loosely – had big nasty hogs whose pens were filthy. The goats and sheep were in 1 large over-crowded pen. The “petting” part consisted of walking past the sheep and goats and touching their heads as they stuck them through the fence.The chickens and ducks were together in a pen. They smelled so foul that we could not even get close enough to really see them. The trail ride that my oldest granddaughter went on was OK – but she does not want to go again. The overall condition of the place was a turn off for her.Lastly, if you have any type of cat allergy or fear of cats - pass on this place. There were cats all over the grounds. Three were sitting on the counter where we registered and several more were running around in there.
