PROS: plenty of free parking; apparently they have a ghost named "Charlie" in the 3rd floor of the 1st building/barn; the 3 building are connected with covered walk ways; friendly staff; ample space to walk around the displays; interesting statues in the 4th building; CONS: there may be a strong odor of automotive oil in the 3rd building as there is a part of the Auto Museum that is on the first floor of the building.

Been to many antique malls across illinois and wisconsin, and I have to say these are the best prices I have seen yet. We loved the barn because the building itself is antique and so much story behind it . They have some spooky ghost story. Friendly staff all over.

There is a lot to look at here! If you want to make the drive to an antique store to be worth your time by going somewhere with more than one shop then head here. There are 3 or 4 buildings next to each other with multi-levels. There are stairs and plenty of little rooms to wander. It can be a bit uncomfortable on a very hot day. There's also a café across the parking lot and the auto museum.

This is a huge antique mall, with room after room, building after building. We love antiques. And we love antique malls, but even I got bored with it all after a while. I did buy several really cute decorative pieces at very reasonable prices. Our biggest disappointment in the place was when we wanted to buy a couple of pieces of furniture. We live in Maine and had flown into Chicago. There were two large pieces my husband wanted to purchase and have shipped back to Maine. The girls at the counter told us they would call the dealer while we continued to shop. When we were done we were told that the dealer didn't ship. Which didn't make much sense to us, we were willing to pay shipping. So my husband suggested a friend might be able to transport it for us. We were then told they didn't take payment over the phone, you had to be present to pay.. My husband asked if the dealer had a business card. They told us no and took our name and phone number instead (no one has called us yet!). We buy a lot of antiques. We would of really liked to have had these two pieces. We were willing to pay all shipping costs ourselves, and assume the risk. The fact that they let someone walk out the door with a $1,000+ sale on the line was unbelievable! We saw lots of signs that stated booth rental in the mall was $375 a month. I have wondered if the dealer was even called, and does he/she know that they missed out on a sale that would of paid their booth rental for almost 3 months? Nice place, lots of stuff, well worth the visit...but I've never had anything like that happen to me before!

I spent so much time walking through all the booths that I didnt get to go the car museum. Leave yourself plenty of time to go through the mall. It is huge. I would say that they have something for everyone. Yes, alot of the stuff is the same ol' stuff, but there is enough there that will make the trip fun.I did manage to find a few good buys and the staff are willing to call the vendors if you want to make an offer on something. So you can bargain on somethings. Its a great way to spend a day when the weather is bad.

Went to the auto museum and also walked through the mall (multiple buildings). It was your typical assortment with many venders

There's always something new and interesting here. I like the setup, staff is everywhere so you don't feel abandoned in this huge location with all of the separate buildings. They are nice and helpful. Great place to go shopping with friends and not have to trip over each other. So much to look at. Each owner of the items puts their own price on things, sometimes it can be a bit high, but I'm on a budget so that may just be me. I saw lots of things from my childhood that brought back memories. If you're looking to buy antiques this is the place to go. Lots to choose from. Also a lot of one-of-a-kind gifts and jewelry.

lots of rooms to go through. Interesting stuff. Old, floors creak, ceilings low in areas. Lot of stuff overpriced, but you can usually find same thing somewhere else in the maze of rooms. Is good place to find odd pieces of collections and such.

So much here and at mostly fair prices. I found a plate which I had to take back to England, the place is massive and you could get lost here. Take a visit when you're passing next!!

The items are well priced and made up of individual peoples stalls, the staff there help you pick the item and pay for it.They will negotiate to a point before having to call the owners of the stalls.Great fun looking through all the items and they are all clean and in good condition

Multiple buildings, with every category of antiques and collectibles. A great way to spend a Sunday. Allow enough time to see everything.

Thousands of square feet of collectibles and antiques. Not really into antiques but love to find quirky little decor items, toys from my youth, etc. Found great Fire King bowls to match my kitchen, retro juice glasses, etc. Individual dealers sell on consignment so you can look without anyone bothering you. When I found someone selling an item that was listed as an antique and it was not the staff immediately removed it from sale. Always something new.

After touring the auto museum, my fiancée and I turned our attention to the antique mall. Now, be warned, she and I both LOVE this stuff so this place was right up our alley. There are buildings and buildings of items to look through and those buildings contain multiple floors. We couldn't absorb things fast enough and were having a great time seeing what odd items we could locate in the maze of booths and displays.Be warned -- some of these buildings are old and the shelves will actually rattle as you walk by, making me nervous some items would topple over. The upper floor of the barn-like building was actually soft in places and so we both had a lot of fun making jokes about crashing through to the floor below us. There are narrow aisles and staircases to navigate and a lot of people around so you need to pay attention. We could have easily spent the entire day there.

This mall is jammed with stuff, room after room and building after building of stuff, but it is not worth the effort. Dusty, monotonous, ordinary, with very few items of interest and those at New York City prices. My feeling about this mall is: you have got to be kidding. If you need something to do on a rainy day, read a book; if the day is nice, drive a little farther and take a walk around Volo Bog state park.

Situated with the Volo Car Museum, the antiques malls are extensive and there's so much there to browse or buy. Some genuine antiques but also lots from the 1940s and 1050s that many baby boomers will relate to ..a little bit of your childhood memories to take home.Do put some time aside to take a look, the stalls are across 4 buildings and there's lots to see. Some a bit pricey, but there's some great stuff there.
