I frequently head to the Chubby Bullfrog to watch Bears and Blackhawks games. Much of the food ranges between $6 - $10. Others such as Jillian R have complained that the owner is unfriendly due to not turning on a Kentucky Basketball game. I am sure this is due to the fact that it was a sat night and there was a hawks game. All the TV are interconnected and it wouldn't have been possible to turn just one to a basketball game that no one cares about. I live around the corner from the Frog and would recommend it to anyone.

I love going to the Chubby Bullfrog! It's a comfortable atmosphere and feel that it's the best option for food in any bar that I've been to. I ordered a burger and it was amazing, my husband had the meatloaf and just loved it. If you're looking for a bar & grill with good food and friendly service I would highly recommend this place!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. WORSE OWNER/BARTENDER MANAGER EVER. BAD FOR BUSINESS...Went in for game night. SIX of us went in for dinner and drinks while we watched UK in March Madness. Hawks game was going to be on also...no problem - huge hawks fan - bonus to get to watch both games at the same time. Got there about 6:30-7:00 - over an hour and a half early for game. Asked to have one TV run the UK game, which was going to start at 8:40pm, and owner/bartender Mike REFUSED. There are a lot of TV's in this place, and NOT ONE TV for MARCH MADNESS? It was just a regular season Hawk's game...nothing special. ONE tv could have easily been tuned into the UK game. But Mike the owner, would NOT put any tv on the UK game - we didn't even care which tv he chose....he refused. On top of that, he "reserved" 4 bar stools, for "regulars".....seriously? Reserved bar stools? It was 7:00, and these "regulars" still weren't in the bar spending money, and the seats were being left unused....I've never been in a supposed "sports bar' that would completely ignore a March Madness game. So we went to Rookies, where tv's tuned to March Madness, and to Hawks game, wasn't a problem....Chubby Bullfrog lost 6 customers that would have been there ordering food and drinking for at least 4 1/2 to 5 hours, all because of refusing to have ONE tv tuned into a HUGE basketball series? And they call themselves a sports bar? Hawks game had not even started yet, so it's not like Mike would have been turning of a tv someone was already watching, either. UK not only won that evening, but went to the final 2 in March Madness! We went to other bars, packed, watching the games...Not only will all 6 of us NEVER go back, our son is making sure none of his friends go there, and I will make sure no one I know goes there either.

We were there early on a Saturday evening with a group of 10. It took a long time to get someone to take our order, and a very long time to get our food. Sandwiches were decent, the buns were very good. But the wait was just too long.
