My husband and I spent a great day on the water with Captain Erik. Between the two of us we probably caught 50 fish! It's a ton of fun to cast and catch almost every time. Skimming over flats, seeing Bald eagles and other wildlife and catching fish... A perfect way to spend a day. We look forward to going out with Captain Erik again. He's a good guy and really good guide!

Friends came to town last week and told me they wanted to do some fishing. I booked with Captain Erik who was very accommodating. The day was blustery but sunny and we had a slow start. However, he was patient and persistent and I actually got my first whopper snook. We also came home with a bunch of fat snappers that we cooked for dinner that night. I think my buddies were happy and went home with some fun fish stories. I would definitely book with Erik again.

We had a great trip with Captain Erik Flett; he's an awesome dude! He worked tirelessly to put on some fish. We are from SC, we've never caught a snook, and he put us on two (a double-up) within the first 20 minutes out. With his help, we also hit the inshore slam! This is great way to catch fish, see lots of wildlife, and get a good look at the Pine Island Sound.

The weather was brutally bad with 20+ knot consistent winds. The bite wasn't exactly on for our full day and most of the other guides cancelled their trips for that day. We were in town for only a few days and the window to fish for Dad and I was limited. Capt. Erik came as a referral and now I can see why. He busted his butt to find fish for us for 8 hours. We caught a few and more importantly had a phenomenal time. Erik has a great attitude and will show you a great time regardless of the outcome. After all, it's fishing and not every day is catching! If you have the opportunity to go with Native Attitude and Erik, do it!!

This was my first time out fishing in this part of Florida with Captain Erik Flett of Native Attitude Fishing Charters. We were treated to three types of fishing experiences and ended up with a decent Red Fish for our evening meal. We will hook up again with Erik the next time we are down to Florida.

My husband and I would referred to Erik by the lodge we are staying at. The trip exceeded our expectations in every way and even included a record catch on the first cast! We will surely be back.

While staying at Tarpon Lodge we had the extreme pleasure of spending a day on the water with Capt. Eric. It was an awesome experience. Capt. Eric is a fun loving guy who is serious about fishing. He went above and beyond to make our day memorable. From the moment you step on his boat, Capt. Eric treats you like an old friend swapping fishing stories and sharing the history of the area. I highly recommend Native Attitude to anyone looking to fish in the Ft. Meyers area.

On a recent trip to the Tarpon Lodge at Pine Island, Florida my husband and I wanted to do some fishing and we were referred to Capain Erik Flett of Native Attitude Fishing Charters. In the past we had gone out on a larger fishing charter with probably fifty people and that was not much fun at all. We didn't want that again and Eric offered a 4, 6 , or 8 hour private charter with just myself and my husband. We scheduled a 6 hour charter taking off in the morning and Eric was right on time and ready to go. He is a very personable guy and really knows his stuff. He has lived in the area his whole life so he knows the area well and certainly knows a lot about fishing. My husband and I tend to be a little competitive when it comes to fishing and we like to keep track who catches the most fish. But when we were out with Captain Eric we were catching so many fish and so fast all day that we lost track of how many we caught. We can only guess at more than 50 all together. Also, Erik was really interested in what we wanted to get out of the day and tried everything possible to make sure we not only had a successful day fishing but a memorable day as well. It was like we were out fishing with an old friend. He worked very hard all day making sure he was taking us where the fish were and making sure our lines were back in the water as fast as he took the fish off our line. In addition, as he was driving us from one spot to the other he explained a lot about the area, what it had to offer, and the history which was all an added bonus. One final note, I am not the best fisherwoman and Erik was so patient with me, put me at ease, and worked with me to improve my technique. We definately plan on going back to Tarpon Lodge and the Pine Island area and will always make plans for a day out on the water with Captain Eril!

We had the best time! My family and I vacationed in Florida recently, and had the pleasure of meeting Capt. Eric Flett of Native Attitude Fishing Charters. As this was our first time out, we chose a four hour charter and soon discovered that we would have loved a six hour. Capt. Eric is an incredible guide who truly enjoys interacting with families and takes pride in his clients having a rewarding fishing experience. For us, Redfish was the catch of the day, and not only did we have a great time reeling them in, but Capt. Eric filleted them and Tarpon Lodge prepared them for dinner! With his knowledge of the local waters and his care-free attitude, you can be sure that your trip with Native Attitude Fishing Charters will be a memorable experience. We'll be back!
