o'tooles irish pub

We really enjoyed this pub. Loved the outdoor bar and life size jenga. Irish coffees were good and bar tender was super friendly. We are for sure going back on our next trip.

Food was good. Had the shepards pie. Beer selection is ok, but not unusual. Many different beers, but sort of run of the mill selections. Typical bar inside. Was dirty, though. Place needs a thorough cleaning.... People brought kids. Why bring kids to a bar?

We chose this place because of its location to meet friends and we are going to become regulars. We ordered wings and potato skins and loved that comfort food! Then I had the shepards pie and my husband had a burger(his usual). Both were tops! I am a certified foodie and was not expecting much from a sports bar and I'm going back for the food! My hubby loved his burger he said it was juicy and cooked just right (med rare). Nice thing also- we never had to flag the waitress down! She was right there talking to us when appropriate and checking in us quietly as we watched our favorite NFL games all day! It is also a great spot to play games! They have a real dart area and lots of fun bar games. I'm very happy we found this spot!!! We will be back!

I realized after reviewing another pub out of state that I had never reviewed O'Tooles, which is WAY better than that one was so here I go. I have been here several times over the last couple years and have NEVER had bad food, and only once questionable service. Everything is always great. The fish and chips are excellent and the Irish breakfast served Sundays is something to be reckoned with! Burgers also phenomenal... Irish stew also great... onion rings great. If you like good beer, good food, and pubs definitely go here. If you don't like those things... I can't help you.

We have visited O'Tooles several times in the past and the food was good (not exceptional) and the place was comfortable. Although they claimed at the time the food was homemade fresh daily I had my doubts but that's just me.Since then they have re-model, and it has become a very uncomfortable place, and the food has suffered we all had the same dishes we ordered in the past and all indicated it was not as good, my main dish was cold on the outside and hot on the inside (microwave) as was the bread pudding I had for desert. I could tell something was amiss when we entered because the place was almost empty inside which was unusual in the past! May try again but not anytime soon.
