About once a week we go down to the pier just to walk out and enjoy the day, we talk to the locals, enjoy the sea breeze and have a very relaxed time. This is a great way to spend a few hours.

Coming in from Route 100 or from either direction of A1A (N/S) it can't be missed. The Pier is the center of it all, great for fisherman and for a fee of $1.50 you can walk out the 800ft. Nice overview of the beach which seems to be endless. The town doesn't have many shops, one block removed from the beach, but they are quaint and nice to stroll thru. A stroll along the beach, enjoying the sand and sea is a great past-time. People there are very friendly and if you're so inclined, a conversation is always to be had. Hungry, there are a number of Pizza places, the Funky Pelican right by the pier or Finns, a pub with live music. So don't just pass thru, stop and feel the sand between your toes.

Great views of the ocean and a neat way to get out on the water without being on boat. It can get busy on weekends, but it worth it!

As you drive down A1A towards Flagler, you can't miss the beach & pier ! The building, where you enter the pier, has all of your needs taken care of for the fishermen. Bait, tackle, licenses, food & bathrooms are all here. There is a $1.50 admission fee to go out on the pier but it's well worth it.Even if you don't like to fish you can go out and sit in the ocean breeze, soak up some sun and enjoy the day. If you are more inclined to have something to eat or drink, the Funky Pelican is right there too. You can even leave a note on the giant outdoor chalkboards that make up the restaurants front wall. We enjoyed our time here and will definitely be stopping back when we're cruising A1A !

we love to go fishing off the pier. it costs $6.00 for the fishing license and access to the pier. They sell food and bait and have bath rooms. On a sunny day it is a great place to relax and fish. we read a book and sun while the men fish. The town is fun to walk around and the fish and chips at Finns is the best.

Epicenter of Flagler Beach but no dogs allowed on pier so keep that in mind. In fact, no dogs are allowed on the beach between 10th streets North & South and dogs are not allowed in the park across the street from the pier ( so not a dog-friendly area ).$1.50 per admission.Maybe also grab a drink or quick bite at the Funky Pelican and enjoy the view.

What a neat pier, love how the main building has this huge Flagler Beach on it. My family make a yearly summer trip to this location. Easy access to parking and the beach is less crowded then the more popular beaches south of here.

This is your average pier- Flagler Beach is a smaller town, so it's not as many tourists, which is nice. There are lots of locals fishing, and people just enjoying a walk out onto the pier. It's a nice breath of the ocean air for a visitor or local. Would recommend.

The Flagler Beach Pier is one of themany piers along the east coast but this one is very well maintained. We came right after sunrise on a saturday and right before sunset on a Sunday and the views were well worth the $1.50 admission.

You can just walk out on the pier or get a fishing license & pole for a reasonable price and fish as long as you like.

We travel to Florida twice a year and love to go fishing. As you can see from my other reviews we have tried many pier's in Florida and this one is very good. Nice long pier with good fishing especially around June. The shop carries fishing supplies and bait as well as hire rods although we take our own. Costs around $8 for a days fishing. There is free parking at the end of pier and Good clean toilets. The restaurant at the end has been refurbished approximately 2 years ago and serves great tasty food at a reasonable price with fantastic sea view.

Walked out on the pier for the sunrise. It is a nice pier, but it will cost you $1.50 to walk out on it to take in the view. Maybe I'm cheap, but it is city owned and should be free. Is it worth the $1.50, meh, it is not a deal breaker and it is nice to catch the sunrise or take in a hour of the day. Parking is out front and near the pier and thankfully it is free. There is a public bathroom nearby and plenty of places for a snack or to get a drink.

We always make a point to go to the pier when we visit Flagler. The view can't be beat! The public bathroom is clean and the parking is free.

I like to walk all the way out on this pier not only to stretch my legs, but to watch the fishermen catching their dinner fresh from the ocean. I always have my camera in hand to watch the eager pelicans diving down to steal a just-caught fish. It's really a funny scene. Bring your own rod set-up or rent one at the shop at the beginning of the pier.Walking out is inexpensive - at this writing $1.50 for seniors, free for soldiers or $6 for anglers. A bathroom is available at the start of the pier at no charge for those just wandering by for a look at the pier.
