Thanks Captain Bruce for a wonderful airboat ride! We took some amazing photos of pink spoonbills, elegant egrets and gators big and small on our hour long tour followed by a fabulous meal at the Jolly Gator Fish Camp.

I have taken 3 different airboat rides from separate companies, this was by far the best! We went in December as family was visiting and unfortunately due to our variable schedule we were not able to plan ahead. I called Central Florida Boat Tours at the last minute and explained the situation and the captain was very understanding and worked with us on short notice. December is not the time you would ordinarily think of an airboat ride but it was amazing. The weather was warm, the sky and water were beautiful and there were an amazing amount of birds in the area. We saw a huge flock of white pelicans and many roseate spoonbills. Many more migrating birds were there as well. We also saw several bald eagles. My grandson enjoyed the many alligators and the airboat ride itself. It was thrilling and the captains obvious love of the are was evident. Area covered was St John's river and Puzzle Lakes. Afterwards, we ate lunch at the Jolly Gator, famous for their Cajun fried gator bites, which were a bit hit! As a local I would definitely do this again!

We are locals and host friends and family from all over the country. I have taken 3 groups out with Capt Bruce and each time, following the ride, our friends/family said that they were apprehensive as they did not know what to expect. After the tour they all said it was one of the highlights of their visit. Capt Bruce is knowledgeable and as a life long resident provides his own insight to the St Johns river flood plane ecosystem. The fact that it is a smaller boat (about 6 people) and not one of the everglades barges makes the entire experience more personal. Keep up the good work Capt.

This is an experience that anyone in the Orlando/Daytona area needs to enjoy. This is an hour (+) ride in an airboat through the marshes of the St. John's River. Alligators, Pink Spoonbills, Bald Eagles, Egrets, Herons, and many other birds. This is tour that takes you where the wildlife is.... This is our second trip, and we will be back the next time we are in the area. Well worth the $$.

The 1+ hour tour was exactly that - over an hour. Fantastic experience with lots of aligaitors and birds to see of all shapes and sizes. Its a one man band and the guide is pationate about the swamp, really interested in giving folks a great time with an exillerating ride whilst respecting the wild life.You should really book in advance - I didn't but was lucky enough to join a small group to make up the numbers.

WARNING! When reading reviews about airboat tours keep in mind most companies do not offer half hour airboat rides and only offer 90 minute tours. Naturally if you spend over one hour on a boat you will have a better expierence to write a review than someone who took a half hour ride. This company offers two different tours. Airboat rides start at just $20 each for a half hour ride. This means every family can afford to enjoy an airboat ride. They also offer hour plus tours for those who want them at just $40 each. I hope they will continue to try to keep their prices affordable to meet every customer's budget. Capt B

Well it started out good, one of our guys was 10 minutes late getting there. Good commentary and views of the river. But then the boat ign. quit and left us stranded. Capt called for help and two boats showed up to take us back. We were heading back but had one more site to see. Depends on how you look at it, we were shorted 10 to 20 minutes on an hour ride. No compensation was offered. Not sure if I would go again with this company.

Great Tour, friendly guide. Definitely would recommend the 1 hour tour! Lots of birds, gators, & other scenery

This was a WONDERFUL ride/tour of the Florida marshes. Captain Bruce was laid back and knowledgeable of the area. He knew when to slow down for photo shoots, stop in the most interesting areas, and give good information about the marshes or the airboats.The smaller boat means we were the only family on the boat. They also had the most economical airboat ride in the area. We called them ahead to make a reservation. Also called them to delay the tour by an hour since it was raining at the time of our tour -- no problem either way. The marshes were BEAUTIFUL! Lots of birds, alligators, cattle -- and the bald eagle -- and just a very peaceful place. Take a camera because it is a sight to see.

My husband and I were travelling to Florida from Australia and wanted to experience an airboat ride. I did some research online and came across Central Florida Airboat Tours. I was able to arrange the ride via email which was very convenient. My husband and I arrived early which was not a problem for Captain Bruce and he started our ride early. The ride itself was fantastic. Captain Bruce would slow down and point out alligators, bald eagles and other wildlife during the ride. Captain Bruce also took the time during the ride to stop and to answer questions and tell us more about the area.The airboat was able to travel over the land which was really thrilling, especially when we had to re-enter the water.I especially liked that we were able to book a ride for just myself and my husband and that it was on a normal sized airboat and not an airboat that catered toward large tour groups. I would definately recommend Central Florida Airboat Tours. The overall experience was just fantastic.

This is a MUST DO trip when visiting central Florida. We were visiting Daytona Beach and took in this attraction. There are many reasons to take this tour. The first being, if you never ridden in an air boat, that is one experience you need to have. What an amazing experience. The next best reason is to see the natural habitat and wild animals. We saw many alligators, many different types of birds, and a pair of Bald Eagles. The length of the tour was just right. The information provided by Capt. Bruce was excellent. We are already looking forward to a return trip next year.

This was a spur of the moment decision to go on this trip and it was one of the most fun things we did on our vacation. Its not that expensive when you compare it to Universal Studios or Walt Disney World and the simplicity of riding around on an airboat on a hot day is not lost on the kids. It also gets you away from the crowds. I would recommend this activity to any family who is being overcome by the heat and crowds of the other tourist attractions.
