My son and I flew to Orlando mainly to go hanggliding at Quest Air. We had never hangglided before, but had always wanted to and are we ever glad that we chose Quest Air for our very first tow up to 3,000 ft. in the air! What a rush! Our expert instructor, "Spinner", made us feel completely at ease as we climbed to our peak altitude and the towline was released. The freedom of flight in a hangglider, with just the sound and feel of the wind against you while you are hovering, diving and doing bank turns is something everyone should experience at least once in their lives. But once you try it, you'll want to do it many more times with the extremely knowledgeable and experienced crew at Quest Air. The view of the area from 3,000 ft. up was spectacular, and Spinner even pointed out a few alligator in the surrounding ponds and lakes.He lets you take over control of the wing as you simply shift your weight slightly to make turns.When we went there was a beautiful sunset developing which was a perfect backdrop to a perfectly thrilling ride and perfect landing. If there is a more exciting, thrilling thing to do in Florida, I can't think of it. Thank you to Mark, Kim and Spinner at Quest Air for an awesome time!

My boyfriend and I were pretty scared at first considering it was our first time and the place is in the middle of nowhere! But the staff was great and you could tell they were very experienced. Everything about the flight was perfect. It was so relaxing and both of our trips lasted over 20 minutes! Definitely worth it. When we were done flying, the staff offered us to stay and kayak on their property or even try their flyboarding! We are going back soon with friends to fly and have a bbq there! Can't wait :)

Pulling onto the property, I did not know what to think. I had never done anything like this and I had no idea what to expect. Admittedly I was a little nervous and the rustic settings did not help at all. It was not until I started talking with the staff members with their easy to talk to personalities did those apprehensions started to disappear. As they showed me around I knew I was at an excellent facility because they really took pride in what they do and how they maintain their equipment. They were very professional and friendly and made this experience so much more than it could have been. The adrenaline mixed with the amazing view of Lake County, Florida was a very unique experience that was worth the cost and more. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a sense of adventure or ever had a dream of flying.

We visited Quest initially for my partner to do Flyboarding but had such an amazing experience we were back within a few days for my partner to do hang gliding!Mark, Kimberly and Spinner were all fantastic and such lovely people.They made the whole experience simple and they were all very enthusiastic but not pushy in anyway.Flyboarding was phenomenal and Spinner was patient and encouraging the entire time.We have a trip booked to take in Orlando in December so we WILL be back for more of the same.This is a brilliant place to visit and the perfect way to round off your vacation if you either like extreme sports, want a change from the parks whilst retaining the excitement or want to try one of the activities for the first time.We were also invited to spend the rest of the day on the property where we could take advantage of the peace an quiet in this lovely setting, or enjoy the nice pool area.We cannot recommend this activity centre highly enough.

My husband took me to Quest Air for tandem hang gliding on my birthday. I am an adrenaline junkie, so hang gliding was the perfect gift for me! The experience was thrilling and the weather was perfect for flying that morning. We went to about 3000' and glided around gently for a while taking in the gorgeous Florida views. If your looking for more thrills, ask for some "roller coaster type moves" to see what the glider is really capable of doing - that will really get your blood pumping! The staff is very friendly and helpful; Mark, Kim and Spinner took great care of us and made sure that we had a great time. We are already planning our next visit!

A morning of hang gliding, an afternoon of fly boarding. What more can you want! The staff here are phenomenal; Mark made sure we were comfortable and Kim just shot us full of excitement. Special thanks to Spinner for taking good car of us also. I cannot stress enough how amazing this experience was. The video's provided are of great quality and will be cherished.Great thing to do with teen aged boys.

This was an amazing experience. I purchased this as a birthday gift to my husband. We are both in our 60's.... but athletic and adventuresome. Neither of us had done this before. We had a wonderful time. The day was sunny, cloudy, windy. Beautiful pictures to cherish. The staff was fun and very knowledgeable. We plan to return asap, and bring my daughter and her husband. We wish we had more time to enjoy this again and again and again. Kudos to you people at Quest Air!!!

I cannot recommend Quest Hang Gliding enough. This was our first time hang gliding and it will be the start of many more times and we'll make sure to go back to Quest. The staff was highly professional, lots of fun and made the experience far better than expected. Mark, the manager I believe, runs a top notch operation. Our tandem pilots, Spinner and Coyote, truly make the trip. They were highly knowledgeable and knew exactly how to make our experience the best it could be. We can't wait to go back with friends to share this experience and try their ultralight flights and flyboarding. I was nervous at first but the minute we left the ground it was a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend to anyone!!!!! Thank you.

There are few things we all dream of collectively. Flying is one of them. I have longed to fly like a bird, or the Flying Nun, all of my life. Quest Air made my dream come true! The atmosphere is relaxed and I felt comfortable immediately.The manager,Mark, is reassuring and very knowledgeable. The tandem pilots who take you up ( Spinner and Freeman Coyote a.k.a.Donnie on this day) are amazingly gifted at flight and go above and beyond to make sure your experience is unforgettable! You will have as active or relaxing of a flight as your adrenaline level can take! The tow pilot this day was April. When she is not flying her Dragonfly she is a world famous animal trainer who has trained animals for major films-so I got to meet really cool people as part of my experience! The ground crew, pilots, visiting solo pilots (there were people from all over the world there flying their own hang gliders)... EVERYONE.. was so nice! The flight itself was SPECTACULAR!!! Breath taking views of the area ponds and marshes from this perspective was unlike anything I could have imagined! The Orlando Skyline and Disney can be seen from the air and we even saw a gator swimming in one of the ponds! After the flight we stayed and enjoyed watching others fly! We went canoeing in the pond on site. Knowing we were going to make a day of it, we packed a cooler and grilled burgers by the pool. It was just the most super fun time I could have imagined and I took away an amazing lifetime memory that I hope to share with grand kids someday!

Very personable pilots, new gear, highly experienced. They went beyond my expectations to deliver an outstanding experience. Would fly with them anytime.

For my 70th birthday celebration, my husband & I went to Quest Air. Mitch, our leader, was terrific. Everyone was very friendly and told us to feel free to use their other facilities and later recommended a great place for lunch.

My husband and two kids (ages 9 and 8) each went on a tandem flight and had a wonderful time. The owners and instructors could not have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating. They explained every step of the experience. My kids still talk about their glide and watch the on-board camera dvd of their flights to this day. It's a refreshing attraction totally unlike the usual theme park, shopping and food-centered things to do in and around Orlando. I highly recommend it.
