We went to a Christmas party at Timacuan (60 people attended). The location is superb and the clubhouse is beautiful. It has plenty of room inside, plus a nice big outdoor patio. Everything is first class.Parking is a bit of an issue - there is more than enough parking - but it is a distance from the entrance and an uphill climb to get back to the clubhouse after you park. There is a portico to drop off people, so only the driver has the walk/climb! The party included a wide assortment of food, including some fabulous hors d'oeuvres and excellent desserts. Everything was delicious and exceptionally well presented. Service was top-notch.There is an area for a band and a good size dance floor. I would recommend this location for any special event.

Played the course yesterday it was great. The new greens were fast but fun. It is a challenging course but easy to play if you pick the right tee boxes. There was no beverage cart on a Sunday, kind of strange for a Sunday, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Saved a lot of money making tee time on Golfnow.com

This course has many challenging holes with various elevation changes both up, down and around the course. The Par 4 2nd hole requires both a precise tee shot and approach shot to the green. The fairways are in great shape and the greens are rolling very smoothly. I've always enjoyed Timacuan's layout as every hole has a unique character and challenges that need to be overcome.

Golf course is in very good condition!! They just completed a renovation of all the greens! did an excellent job!!

Our women's club scheduled a catered buffet luncheon recently and everyone loved it. In addition to the two entree offerings, we were served a make your own salad bar with more toppings than you could ever get on your plate. The dessert table offered small portions of several delicious sweets and I have to admit that I enjoyed the pecan pie and the chocolate mousse. The view was spectacular too, overlooking the golf course. Parking was convenient. If you ever have the need of a buffet luncheon for a group, try out Timacuan. You will be very happy.

The course just completed renovations of the greens. They are simply the best in Central Fl. The course is in great shape. The locker rooms and banquet hall have all been renovated as well Great experience !

This is one of the top 20 rated golf courses in the state of Florida. The location is convenient (about 15 miles north of Orlando). There's also a restaurant on the premises that serves great food at reasonable prices. Enjoy!

Great lay out best public course in Seminole county IMO. Lots of fun and challenging holes. Greens are always great. Good luck on hole # 2.

Many memorable holes, presented in excellent condition. As with most better courses the second time is more enjoyable.

I played the course Sunday morning (9/16/2012). The club house was pretty laid back and the golf course lacked a started. I was a party of 1 that booked on golfnow.com. The proshop said I could pair up with the other 3 in that tee time or go early by myself if I wanted. I ended up pairing up with another single and hit the course. Overall the course is in good shape minus the greens. Once you got the the green you could tell they were seeding.

Challenging holes, but needs help in the summer. The greens are spotty and hard to play. Will go back in the Fall when they have cleaned it up.

We found a deal on ODeals Daily and decided to purchase it. We called to book a tee time and decided to wait since the greens were being aerated. It was nice that the gentleman on the phone told us that - sometimes it comes as an unpleasant suprise once you arrive. The course was amazing - it is extremely well-kept. The fairways can be challenging. It's a nice change from the usual flat courses that surround the Orlando area. This course is full of hills - at one point I felt like I was in a different state. Staff was friendly and overall had a great experience. It is pretty costly so finding a deal online at a reduced rate was perfect. We will be back.

The course is unplayable. Greens are a disaster, fairways don't have grass, bunkers are full of crushed rock and tee boxes are weeds vs grass. The landscaping is overgrown with weeds and vines. I will not play the course again and have told everyone not to waste their time or money. It looks like it could be a great course (layout looks good) but the ownership must invest in improving conditions.

My daughter's wedding reception was held here last year, and I was very happy with the venue, as well as the excellent staff. The event coordinator literally did everything she could to fulfill our wishes and dreams. The main dining room is very picturesque and looks out over the fairways and a lake with a fountain. There is also a very pleasant deck for cocktail parties with a great view.
