We just finished 9 holes with Both of my daughter who are 5 and 9 years ol, we decided to get dinner at the restaurant, so we asked for menu 1st, because no one want to take care of us!!! Then We need to ask for kids menu, so they want fettucini so they brought 2 kids plate of pasta, believe it or not it was like if they had one menu Split for 2, there was nothing on the plate, i mean like 2 spoons of pasta.I told them that was portion for babies, they answer that i was supposed to ask for 3 kids menu, with Kind of arogance. Thanks but i left to another place named "Westchase" 2 min away Where the size of kids menu were normal.I ll never be back to that restaurant.

We are residents of The Eagles and live on the 14th tee of the Forest course. My husband loves to golf, but cannot play any longer. Our friends, neighbors and our golf pro son-in-law love the courses and say they are a couple of the most challenging courses in the area. I love just riding along with the golfers, enjoying the view and the amazing wildlife (amazing diversity of birds, deer, coyotes, alligators, turtles and bobcats). The Eagles Golf Club hosts many charity events. They host movies under the stars, jazz bands, Wednesday's Prime Rib night, Friday's Fish Fry wine and craft beer tastings, breakfast with Santa and many more activities. As a bonus, they now have a weekend breakfast (until noon on Saturday and Sunday) for half the price of the Village Inn and other local breakfast restaurants. We have also used their facility for family parties, a wedding shower and a baby shower. The catering was great and we had plenty of room for many guest and a nice time at the bar after.

The two courses are very well maintained. The best I have seen them in many years. You could spend as much time watching the wild life as playing golf. The bar/restaurant is good. The food is fair and the service good. They need to put some money into upgrading the clubhouse then it will be great. The best place to sit with your drink/meal is on the patio. The views are outstanding

A really interesting two golf course layout. The Forest course is more open, by that I mean fewer homes. It is a golf course community so houses lined both courses. Not so close on most holes that they will get beat up, or to be a distraction to the golf. You will also see more wild life on the Forest course. Water abounds everywhere, bring about a dozen balls per round just in case. You want to exercise caution retrieving balls in the lakes, as we saw a 15 foot gator on the lakes back nine. One lake on the Forest had two of them swimming around. Course condition was very good, but I expect for the winter season it will be outstanding. The greens putt true. Very friendly staff, good bar and snack area, well equipped pro shop. Driving range is into a lake so you can practice your water shots. All in all a great golf couple of days, I am looking forward to playing them again.

Met my retired friend here to meet up & play some golf. We played the Forest Course & had a great time. I can't imagine what the Lakes course looks like if the Forest Course had this much water. Played the blue tees & kept it out of most of the trouble :-) The greens & fairways were great. Some of the bunkers needed a little more sand or some good tilling. The pace of play was excellent. Everyone was very nice & friendly.

If you like dank you can visit the 19th hole at the eagles. The food is fair the service is acceptable, the decor, smell and overall condition is dank. Time to invest a few dollars on some paint new carpets and some spackle.

played the forest course and found ti to be quite demanding - rated 129 from second longest tees. although there is a second course at this venue called the lakes, don't let the name "forest course" fool you. There is a ton of water on this one as well. The course was very well maintained and really an interesting layout.

My cousin and I visited Tampa last week and played both the Forest and Lakes courses here. Both very good courses and reasonable price. We enjoyed them so much we returned the following morning and played again in the afternoon at just the cart rate of 20 dollars......great golf, service and good location.....we even saw an Alligator or two...but watch out one came out of the water and chased off my cousin......forget looking for lost balls in the water !

I play a lot of Golf and have played a great number of Courses in the area (Westchase is close by) and The Eagles has always been consistently good. There are two courses - The Forest and The Lakes.Don't be seduced by the name "Forest" as it has loads of water!!Some people say that The Forest is the more interesting course but both are very good with well tended greens. The Clubhouse is very nice and the food much better than you might expect.I went there with my wife on Friday afternoon and they had Fish (Haddock) plus choice of potato for $9.99 plus it was a Happy Evening!!The Golf is also good value (not cheap) but IMO worth every cent. It's also always been very friendly/welcoming which isn't always the case with some courses.
