Buffalo Creek is a course with a nice layout and decent greens. I would have given it 3 stars except that it took us 4:50 to play - and that was after waiting 30 minutes beyond our tee time to tee off. First, the course doesn't have enough carts for all the people who play there. When I drove up, there were about 16 people waiting for people to finish so they could get a cart. (By the way, this same problem exists at Buffalo Creek's sister course, Manatee, which also belongs to the county.)Next, the course evidently double booked 3 tee times before ours, so we had to wait while they "fit in" those extra golfers at our expense (and all those following us.) Then when we got to the 3rd hole, a par 3 over water, there were 4 groups waiting to tee off. The only time we saw a ranger, he was driving up the cart path towards us as we were trying to hit our tee shots. We had to wait a few minutes for him to get out of the way - yet another delay. This may have been the last time I play this course.

Having played a round of golf at Buffalo Creek ay least 30 + times in the past years.. My brother in law and I played here for the 2nd time in the past 2 weeks The course is in great shape the Fairways are lush and green--- the green's are also in 1st class condition.. the players on the course and there were many from what we heard really enjoyed playing a round of golf at Buffalo Creek.. very nice folks handling the course--example we played last Saturday the course at noon was heavy as we made the turn at 10 and 11 we noticed 6 carts backed up on 11--2 folks were walking and slowed down the rest-- I went to the Pro Shop and said we were pressed for time and could we get a "rain check" 80 degrees NO rain --the Manager said sure come back and play at a later date and we did yesterday--Plush fun course ---Oh 39.00 after 12pm and very reasonable all thru the winter---Sign up for there Web Specials via -e mail save you some $$
