Our trip over to the islands was fun and the staff on the boat were fine and they slowed down at one point so we could see the dolphins play in the wake which was cool. The dark side of this company lives in the office. Each time I called I got the same rude girl who made it clear that if I asked the right questions she would answer but as far as providing any other information or friendly advice, forget it. She definitely needs to bring a little more to the table and if she were the first person my customers had to deal with I would be making some changes. Girlfriend you need to be placed someplace else in the company, not out front or answering phones.

We took the Island Girl water taxi from Pineland to Cabbage Key then North Captiva. Staff very helpful and professional. They answered lots of questions about the area. On the way back, the Captain played with dolphins by having them jump in the boats wake ! It was amazing. I would highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I used Island Girl Charters to get over to Cabbage Key where we had a nice weekend booked for ourselves. Captain and crew were very professional and friendly. Were very punctual on the trip to and from Cabbage Key. Will use them again for our next visit. Highly recommended Oh, I almost forgot. While we were dropping passengers off at North Captiva, some novice boater had completely blocked the channel to exit. Our captain managed to maneuver that boat with about 6 or less inches on either side. Did I mention he was in reverse? Wow. I've been an experienced seafarer for many years on much larger ships, but I was very impressed.

I will give them a 2 over 5 to try to get them ramp up. They usually provide a good ride and people on the boat are courteous but definitely their customer representative for booking is extremely poor, and keep getting worse. No sure if you are ready to go through stressful phone calls on top of getting your trip organized!

We arrived outside the regular scheduled ferry service to North Captiva so we booked a private charter for our group of seven (plus luggage and enough groceries to feed an army!). Everyone we dealt with was very helpful and friendly. The crew loaded and unloaded everything for us which alone was worth the price of the trip. Our return from North Captiva was via scheduled ferry. We were fortunate both times to have Captain Tim at the helm. On the return he went out of his way to invite a pod of dolphins (with mama & baby dolphin) to play in our wake. It was the highlight of our week!

Our family of 4 traveled to North Captiva over the Fourth of July week. From check in at the Pineland Marina to departure from Barnacle Phil's, Island Girl was the perfect fit. Don't let the casual island mood fool you when you call to make reservations, our reservation was waiting for us when we checked in under the tent and the ferry was right on time heading over to the island and returning at the end of the week. A couple of notes: 1) Island Girl Charters takes debit cards for payment of the ferry ride and parking at Pineland Marina; 2) if traveling round trip, you will be given a paper ticket to surrender on your return; 3) even though luggage is included in your trip fare, take half the clothes you think you will need for your rental and twice the food and beer; 4) the return guests from previous years all used the Rubbermaid containers.

The staff was helpful and friendly. It's 35 bucks a head for the ride out to cabbage key and back. You sometimes get a surprise stop at north captiva as it is part of their route. If you do get to go there it's about a half and hour stop so jump off and get and ice cream or beer at barnacle Phil's!

Island Girl Charters was great for us to get to North Captiva and back. The boat staff was very helpful since we had a HUGE load of luggage and groceries for our two-week stay. On our return trip, the Captain slowed so we could all watch the dolphin playing in our wake. All in all we had a great experience with Island Girl - a timely and reliable way to get to North Captiva.

I am currently in North Captiva on vacation. Two grandparents, two parents, two kids (12 and 8), a toddler age 2 and an infant age 6 months. We are staying at Las Olas...it's magnificent.I was referred by the homeowner to Island Girl Charters. I called and asked to book a fishing trip with Andy. After waiting two weeks and a bunch of drama, I decided to go with someone else and told Island Girl that I was no longer interested. The new owner Michael Flynn called personally, apologized, and gave me a four hour free fishing trip for the inconvenience. The fish weren't biting but we had a nice time. The next day we had planned to go shelling...but the tides were way high...Michael again called and gave me several options including cancellation (low tide is most optimal for shelling). In the end, we received a free fishing trip...we tipped Andy very well...but Michael lost over $800 through our trip...but assured me he only wanted to do what was right. There are other outfits that charter...but go with Island Girl. Michael just purchased it and has the right approach to vacations...he went above and beyond to make sure there was a good experience had by all. Thanks Michael Flynn and Island Girl Charters.

New Years Eve day we took the 11 am ferry to Cabbage Key. The twin 150 HP motors gave a smooth and powerful ride across the shallow ocean water. The personnel were helpful and enjoyable, and on schedule. We had a great time on the island, swung by North Captiva to shuttle other passengers, had dolphins join us in our wake (in both directions), and enjoyed the warm sunshine. The $30 cost was reasonable, and the islands are only accessible by boat, so a brief visit in a quiet paradise was a pleasant diversion from the otherwise commercial Florida.

God service når man skal til North Captiva.. Rimelig pris og husk kontanter til drikkepenge, da de sørger for at læsse og losse oppakning og de er meget serviceminded
