Super place, run by warm ,friendly people! This business is a one of a kind, for wanting to make your adventure safe, and comfortable, and fun! We are seasoned Kayakers, and took off on our own, but we're equipped with everything we needed from maps,to water,to Girl Scout cookies! We saw Dolphins, fish,Rays, and the most birds you ever saw in one place!A truly neat place to take your family, group or just yourselves. A must do, in a spectacular area! Thanks for a great day Chris, and hubby!

Called out of the blue to Paradise Paddle and talked with Chris. What a wonderful person. She explained all there was to be seen in her mangrove waters, provided us with a laminated map, new kayaks, cold bottled water complete with cooler, and an offer of some of her free girl scout cookies for our adventure!! Upon returning she and her husband helped us land the kayaks and offered use of their showers as well as more water and cookies. All of this at a very underpriced rate, so much so that I felt I was being unfair to them. These folks are truly out to bring a good time to their clients, not to make money. They wanted us to stay and paddle as long or as little as we were comfortable with, enjoy our visit to the max, and treated us more like friends than clients. This is a definite for families, singles, experienced yakers and newbies. Feel free to leave a generous gratuity as these folks really go above and beyond with a basic price that can not cover their costs. Chris, thanks for such a great experience.

We contacted Chris the same day we wanted to go out and her and her husband, Eldon, were very accommodating to all our requests and needs. We went on a guided-tour for 2 hours with Chris. They let us choose what kayak we wanted (single vs double) and supplied water and fresh fruit as a snack. Once we returned to the house I was curious about SUP and Eldon insisted I try it and helped me onto a board. Chris and Eldon were the best part about this operation. The entire family enjoyed the experience and recommend it to all. This was our favorite part of visiting Pine Island.

Wonderful people!! Made you feel like family. Offered water and hot coco afterwards. First time ever kayaking for myself, mom and dad. We had the best time ever and the dolphins were lovely to watch and be so up close and personal with them in their environment. So coming back with my family!! Truly recommend them for those who enjoy true honest folks and a wonderful times.!!!

Elden and Chris are a great team - down to earth, yet professional. They provided me with a map, bottle of water, and Chris even offered me a hot cuppa while I waited under the port for the rain to blow over. I had an amazing time - following dolphins up close, navigating the mangroves, paddling through serene lakes of glass while fish jumped all around me. It was truly wonderful experience. can't wait to come back. Thanks, Elden and Chris!

We completed our first SUP experience today with Chris by chance. I googled "SUP Cape Coral" and we ended up here! Loved visiting Pine Island and the set up on the bay is great. Moments away from the river (great views of Cape Coral and Sanibel Island from there) and wonderful Mangrove estuaries all around! Got to see a Manatee and followed him for quite some time getting a great workout in the process. My husband even got hit (gently) in the ankle by a fish! It was a lovely experience and Chris and her husband were so nice and provided an unforgettable paddle adventure. I'm hooked :)

Couldn't ask for nicer people, a better price or a greater way to connect with and enjoy Mother Nature. The aquatic wildlife is abundant and amazing.

My wife and I went kayak fishing while in town for a wedding. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area we kayaked was gorgeous natural environment. Beautiful mangrove marshes, seagrass beds, and oyster reefs. Saw a number of bird species, fish, and sting rays. The surrounding area is sheltered so even on windy days kayaking is not difficult.

We were looking for a good outdoor adventure to get away from the Florida crowds and this was the perfect choice! The owners were very friendly and helpful, gave a lot of information about the area and got us settled into our kayaks. We kayaked the mangroves and saw some beautiful birds, a raccoon and lot of fish jumping. Then once back to the house I kept going toward the mouth of the bay and found two playful dolphins that put on quite a show! They told us that we may encounter manatees or dolphins in that area and they were right! The dolphins were zooming back and forth along the sea wall and then would come around, go under the kayak and at one point, one of the stopped next to my kayak, rolled over and laid there looking at me! I followed them and they entertained me for about 40 minutes! So cool to see them in their natural environment!

We have a place in Cape Coral that we visit frequently and during our last trip we decided to try SUP. Found Pine Island online and so glad we did. Eldon and Chris are excellent guides and so knowledgeable. They are friendly and outgoing. It was a little windy and our daughter was struggling a bit but Eldon did a great job coaching her and giving her positive support that she pushed through and was happy she did because we ended up having a couple of dolphins come and play with us which just made our day. They also do a night program that looks amazing and we definitely want to check that out when we come back. Chris and Eldon showed us how enjoyable SUP is and now my husband and I are looking for our own boards to have back here in NH for the summer.

My husband and I did an escorted kayak tour. We were looking for an overview of the southern end of Pine Island (we have kayaked on lakes and rivers and are not familiar with tide-effects). Chris was friendly, comfortable and a great companion. She had maps for us, waterproof boxes for our cameras, towels and extra water. The waterways are peaceful and beautiful. We will got back to kayak on our own AND to try paddle boarding.

So happy we found this place! We've only been in the area for a little over a month. Having moved from California, we were excited to trade surf for SUP. I stumbled onto Pine Island Paddling on Yelp and decided to give them a call. I talked with Chris and she was so nice! We decided to drive out and just take a look. We thought that maybe we would do a 24 hour rental. They have great rental prices and 1/2 off for the second rental. We arrived and met Chris and her husband Eldon. Both were super friendly and informative. They showed us all their boards but hubby was hooked immediately on a gorgeous 12' board. While waiting, we saw a mother dolphin teaching her baby to play in the water, a bald eagle and a really pretty Osprey. Such a pretty place and such nice people. So we bought the board. Amazing price BTW. We have been to another place and checked out boards online and we knew they have the best deal in town. Honestly, for what we would have paid for a used board at other stores, we got a new, top of the line board INCLUDING a $200 adjustable fiber carbon paddle, leash and straps. Every other place we've seen charges for those. Eldon and Chris even delivered the board to our home later that day! Cut to the short- we took the board to Naples yesterday and we LOVED it! It rides like a dream! Hubby is so happy with his new board and I can't wait to get my yoga board! Thanks to you both. See you soon!*** UPDATE 3/18/2013- Since my original update we went back to PIPP and bought another board for me. I got the yoga board and love it. It's incredibly sturdy and so much fun. I can't tell you how many times I've had the most amazing days on this board. It has been one adventure after another now that hubby and myself both have boards and can go together. I was originally a little apprehensive about being on a board. Now it feels like second nature. I see dolphins on practically every trip. I saw a manatee the first day I took my new board out at Lovers Key. I saw another one on my birthday. It just doesn't get more magical than that. It's a purchase I have never regretted. You literally see nature in a way you never have - and get a great workout in the process. It's totally addicting. ;)

Chris was a great tour guide. It was raining all day and the sun had finally cleared up. We had a nice couple hours out in the peaceful estuaries. We saw amazing wildlife and were even lucky enough to be paddling by dolphins! Really made our faction special. SUP or kayaking, it'll be a great time.

Thank you PIP paddling! I had a wonderful first SUP lesson/tour with Chris through the mangroves. She was very personable and extremely generous with her time. We saw dolphins fishing very close to our boards. I loved it and highly recommend them. The SUP boards were very good quality. Nel.

Having used them last year to rent Stand Up Paddleboards (SUP) on our vacation in Sanibel Island, with such great service and prices we decided to use them again this year. I contacted Chris and she remembered us & invited us to come visit them on Pine Island (since we rented over the phone last year & they delivered the boards right to our condo on Sanibel). So we took her up on her offer and went to visit them (Chris & Eldon). We had intentions of renting two boards for the week but were somewhat interested in how much it would cost to own our own boards since we live in Jacksonville, Florida & have water all around us.Chris & Eldon showed us what rental options they had & then went over the purchase options. They were OUTSTANDING explaining the different types of boards and matching us up with a few different options. After narrowing it down Eldon put a couple of boards in the water so we could test them out before we bought them. He took us on a nice SUP tour through the estuaries so we could try out the boards. He explained how they use the bungee tie downs to carry water or a small cooler & made sure we were comfortable with the way the boards handled. The board I originally chose was a good fit for me, but when our 9 yr. old son got on the board with me, Eldon noticed that it sat a little too low in the water so we switched to my second choice which worked out great. My wife also tried out two different boards before choosing her favorite. After our test rides/tour we picked out our brand new boards. Because they take pride in the details & what they sell, Eldon laced the bungee tie downs on ea. board with a thicker & better bungee cord that he personally orders because the one that come with the board is thin. They explained & showed to us in great detail what they do for maintenance & then showed me how to strap them to the roof rack of my SUV.I HIGHLY recommend using Pine Island Paradise Paddling whether you are renting, buying, or want to do an eco-tour, or they even have SUP Yoga classes! They are two GREAT people who take pride in their business & provide EXCELLENT service!
