We have passed this place for many years and never stopped in. Friends recommended it so we tried it. On the outset it just looks like another biker bar, far from it. The front facing the river is just a bar but the Tiki bar is outdoors and also has a beautiful view of the River. The service was outstanding, the music very good and the food and prices are unbeatable. If you opt for pizza, one single slice is all you can eat. I ordered two slices and had to take one slice home. My wife ordered the stromboli and same story. Going back this weekend.

Husband and I have been going to Earls for 8 years now. Never had a bad experience. If you are looking for caviar or sushi, keep moving. This is a down to earth place. Outside music venue is always entertains. Shelley and Brian are great at the outside bar. If you go for breakfast, Ms. B is the best!! Food has always been good. So if you are looking for a place to unwind and chill, go to Earls, pull up a chair, enjoy the Indian River view, order yourself a cocktail and relax with the real people. Nurse and Aviator!

Don't let the rows of motorcycles scare you. While this is considered a biker bar by many, it isn't rough at all. There is a good mix of bikers & non-bikers, young & not-so-young, rich &... well, you get the point. For live music, you can beat Earl's for their line-up. Consistently they have great blues or rock bands. The staff is friendly, if a bit overworked in this crowded venue. Getting a drink can take a while especially at the outside bar. I suggest popping inside, where it is less crowded, if you are not inclined to wait. The food is good. Their burgers have that home grilled taste. This isn't a dining establishment so if you don't want a burger or a hotdog, you will be out of luck. Parking can be a hassle on a typical Sunday, their busiest day. Be prepared to park about a block south in a public lot & walk...unless you have a motorcycle, then you have more options across the street. Seats outside are pretty limited. Regulars have learned to bring their own beach chairs if they plan on kicking back all day to listen to the music. I've been going to Earl's for a long time. It is always fun. Loud & crowded, but fun.

This could be a great place, or a mediocre joint, at best, it all depands on what you're looking for. We went for lunch, expecting good pub-style food, and an informal atmosphere. What we found was a biker bar and a very short selection of eats. No menu to look at, just the waitress rattling off the 3 or 4 items available. And all burgers are cooked well done, regardless of your desires. That hurt, as I like my burger medium rare, and I get upset when a place, or a municipality, tells me that I have to eat a hockey puck to keep me food-safe! Another strike against was that the place was marginally clean (and that's being generous). So if you want drinks and a few limited-menu items, this is the place. Otherwise, I'd steer clear.

We found this place by searching out where in Vero Beach had a Golden Tee machine and I am very glad we drove up to Sebastian to Earls. We even went back a couple days later because we had so much fun. The bar staff were friendly to us, the drinks are well priced, and they have a kitchen with from what is simple but good bar food. This is definitely a biker friendly bar, but didn't any "riffraff" as far as I could tell. We came in on New Years day, during the day, and stayed about 3 hours. We came back the next Saturday, in the late afternoon for about another 3 hours. It's a nice touch that on the weekends they have a grill outside selling hot dogs, hamburgers, etc..I would mention that this is a indoor smoking bar so keep that in mind. But honestly its open to the outside air and that kept the air moving pretty well. Overall, we had a great time and we definitely be back.

Earl's Hideaway is many things, a biker bar, a place to show off your tattoos, a place to enjoy great music from noted musicians, but at the very least a place to see smiling people enjoying themselves and your smile will reflect right back to you, believe me! Guys, this is not a place to pick up women, so if you get lucky, good for you. After a drink or two you might look to your left and see the Indian River and realize you are at a special place with special people all around you - whether they came on a bike or not. This place is a jewel in the State of Florida and not to be missed...maybe you should be there on a Sunday afternoon...whenever...there are lots of veterans there, our flag proudly displayed above the bandstand, and age is just a number...come and enjoy and thank God there's an Earl's Hideaway.

Authentic biker bar, one of the oldest businesses still going strong in Sebastian! Great location and vibe, good food, and the best blues music in north Indian River County!

If you go to Earl's take your bike. It's a safe place to go but be warned, it is a biker bar. The music is great, and everyone seems to have a good time there, but it's not the place to go for a quiet date or in depth conversation. The view is pretty, right on the river, but other than that, nothing fancy. It's not the place I'd go again, but I would if I was under 50 and rode a bike.

Service was aweful, Rude wait staff, to the point of confrontational. The manager could care less. Food was nothing special cold burgers, like hockey pucks, pizza was no better. The bathrooms were filthy,if you go there make sure you keep your handbag close to you, its not the patrons so much as the staff that will enjoy the use of your money

A nice spot to sit back with the warm weather and enjoy the night. Ok beer selection, fun crowd and a limited typical bar menu for snacks. Nice bartenders inside and outside. Good location as well, you cal walk along the river and stop back for some fun.

Something quite different for those of us who are on four not two wheels. A very casual environment with live music. Limited food but it is really the atmosphere that makes it a fun place to have a beer and people watch.

It looked a little sketchy when we first drive up. Then I noticed all of the parking for Earls was full .When you go your going for the music and the people. The food is simple but good. Beer is cold and the shows are outstanding. I've always make it a point to go when I am in Florida if I'm close.

Taking a long walk around Sebastian we stopped in for a late lunch and some cold beer. Drafts were terrific, as were were hot and tired from walking. Great open air bar to sit at and watch people and the river. Nice bikes coming and going and interesting people. We ordered two reuben sandwiches and asked if one could be switched out with turkey meat. No problem. When the sandwiches arrived we were really happy with the freshness and the quantity of meat. Both the turkey and the beef were tender and delicious. This is a basic no frills bar but the food service was good, and the sandwiches were presented as well as in any deli or sandwich shop. Ate well, had two drafts each all for $20.

Earl's Hideaway Lounge & Tiki Bar along Sebastian, Florida's historic Indian Riverfront is a great place to chill. It's across the street from the water but if you sit inside the main building, you can watch the river world go by. The building is small but there's plenty of room outside at the Tiki bar in the back of the building. Like the other reviews have noted, yes, there tends to be bikers present and that always makes things interesting. The food is just a bit more extensive than some average bar food and, hey, they have single malt scotch and good, live blues music, so I'm happy! One of my favorite quotes was originally overheard in this bar, "You can't say you've been drinking all day unless you start in the morning." (I'm not admitting how early it was.)
