My husband plays golf and always comes here for the short course, which is his favorite. We enjoyed the prime rib special on Tuesday - great price and delicious. The dining area is appealing with views of the 18th and a nice bar in the middle of the room. Service was a bit slow, and seemed lacking for the numbers of guests. But they were pleasant and accommodating. We will return, especially on a Tuesday.

I really loved this golf course. The holes were just the right amount of challenge without being so tough that you want to throw your club. The scenery it stunning. They keep the course in really good shape, but the greens are super super fast!! Putting on this course will break you if you aren't aware of just how crazy fast the greens are. I also found that the pace on the course was a tad slow, although I find most of the courses in Southern Florida to be slower than normal. You will never finish 18 in 4 hours, but we were done in a little over 4.5 hours so not too bad. I cannot wait to play again!

If you haven't been playing because of the greens . Well it's time to start playing again they are sweet. It's great to see d guest coming back and saying great job getting the greens back to normal . This course has a great reputation. And the resturant and bar has good food for you to enjoy, and relax .

Golf course is really challenging. Since Billy Casper has taken over management of the restaurant and golf course it's got 80% better. You should come out and give it a try I think you will enjoy the facilities

I played here twice while on holiday in Fort lauderdale. The course is in very good condition and I could see the greens staff working hard to maintain everything. The staff in the Pro shop were very friendly and helpful as was the caddy master. In fact the lady serving in the bar was very nice ,....so that was everyone I met ! This was an interesting course with lots of dogleg holes so you really do need to think your way around. The greens ran at a reasonable pace and rolled true. There are plenty of options to play from different tees and there are plenty of distance markers out on the course. One small point.....the directions from green to the next tees are not very clear and a board showing the layout of the hole would be useful on every tee.All in all a very good course with friendly staff and patrons.

An absolute dump! It must have been a terrific course in its day but needs a total renovation . the course is beat up the trees haven't been trimmed in years the paths have pot holes and the fairways have tree roots growing across them. I will not be returning. Billy Casper golf get your act together.

Since this place has re-opened the place looks great! The food even better than before and the staff superb. Great happy hour with really great prices. Sit at the bar that over looks the greens. Lots of TV's for those of you that want to…We enjoyed the Ink Spots concert on the grounds and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves…easy access to the lounge to order finger food and cocktails and sit outside to enjoy the concert. Hope this place has more of these concerts as this was a wonderful evening and it was wonderful to see this place packed!!

This is a privately owned club with public access. The downstairs bar faces the golf course and is a lively place. Not quite Cheers, but very friendly. Bar restaurant has a very decent menu that is reasonably priced. Good, attentive wait staff. Casual atmosphere.

we had 3 golfers with rental clubs and 2 carts for 4 people. We teed off after noon and total cost was 155. Not bad. The rentals were fair and in short supply. Make sure to request them early. The course has plenty of sand to protect the greens. The water is around but really doesn't come into play unless your slice or hook is out of control.5 or 6 tee box stations. So even the long hitters will be chalenged.

Traveled over from the Naples area to meet friends to play on Xmas day. We're kinda spoiled and this is no country club course. It is long and can be challenging but the course and paths are shabby at best. Condos and apartments surround the course . In one area the buildings looked like a minimum security prison. In an other I felt like we were in downtown Detroit. The limited staff on hand were very pleasant and helpful. But for $40 you get what you pay for.

While on a recent trip I played Colony West, Jacaranda, and Heron Bay. I felt that Colony West by far had the best and most challenging layout. The fairways were not in "manicured" condition but they were playable. The greens rolled decent at a medium fast pace. Bunkers played nice and consistent. I would call the conditions better than Heron Bay but not as good as Jacaranda. If I lived in the area this would probably be my home course. Overall a good value for under $40. By the way...the management is from the Pittsburgh area so you gotta be a Steelers fan....JK!

We have been here several times and always leave feeling like we received the best value for our dollars spent. The prime rib special is a must!! Try the onion rings they are always fantastic and even though we don't golf, it's a pretty view and fun to watch the golfers as they play their last hole. A few of the atrium windows are fogged and in need of replacement as well as some outside building maintenance is necessary, but the City just bought this property so I am certain that these issues will be addressed. Shhhhhh....Another one of Broward's Best Kept Secrets!

If price and course length are your criteria, you will probably be happy with this course. This course is tired and it shows - things like the hole-yardage signs probably haven't been painted in years and do not agree to the scorecard. If you like beautiful courses, this definitely isn't it . Couple that with the fact they do not have rangers to keep play moving (5.25 hours for a round), we certainly would not recommend this course.
