This Valentines/President's Day weekend was my fourth (or fifth) trip to Saddlebrook for the tennis program, and once again, it remains my favorite in the country. This time stood out because of the coach I had for all three days of sessions, Matt Broom, who instructed and drilled with an exceptional focus on, and dedication to, adjusting everyone's individual strokes and fixing each of our unique glitches (versus a single, blanket, do-it-this-way approach). He really seemed determined to make a difference, and in fact, sought to have the same students every day to continue building on his instruction to each of us. Matt was the best I've had at Saddlebrook -- ask for him if you really want to raise your game.

The Har-Tru courts are beautifully maintained.The clinics are fun, fast-paced and intimate. My group was only 4 people all at the same skill level.The private lesson was great too - very personalized.Special thanks to Mike Harley - his lesson and clinic were both awesome!!

Great tennis program. I go ever year to refresh my tennis skills and I'm never disappointed. I learn a lot and meet interesting people that love tennis also.

Tennis program is outstanding . Lots of great pros, very serious about teaching you new skills, yet totally enjoyable. Excellent players, serious program. Hotel rooms were very outdated and depressing. Someone needs to get the rooms updated. Not enough restaurants to chose from.

What a waste having a tennis facility in Wesley Chapel. Who wants to look at men or women hitting a little ball over a net that I can jump over. How about a man sport and not a girly man tennis match

First stay at this Tennis Camp Resort. I have been to several other Tennis camps. The instructors were top notch and gave individual instruction in a group setting. Very knowledgeable about the right way to hit a tennis ball. Serious tennis players were present. Nice pool in the middle of the resort. The accommodations were OK. Clean. Comfortable. Somewhat dated. The resort has restaurants but many other within 10 minutes. Would go back again for the tennis

My family and visited the Saddlebrook Resort for tennis and relaxation. The resort and the staff were the best. The tennis director and his staff treated my family as if we were the only family at the resort, the attention to detail was excellent. My children ages 9, 13, 15 and my wife and I had the best tennis training. The programs were catered to our needs and the trainers were the best that I have ever taken lessons from in my 30 years of tennis. My wife and I took private lessons while my kids were in a camp. We had an excellent tennis camp experience at Saddlebrook. My children,ages 9 and 12 attended the tennis camp for two weeks in July. The program was rigorous, yet wonderful and effective. The ratio of pros/kids was low enough to allow personal attention. The daily execution of the tennis program involved several milestones including specific emphasis on fitness and conditioning. The children had the opportunity to have their video analysis done by very experienced people at the beginning and at the end. Their constructive comments with the visuals allowed the kids to understand what they needed to work on in addition to what to take home upon their departure to continue working on. The instructors/pros were very knowledgable and patient. They provided years of experience under the supervision of Howard Moore, the superb tennis director!Mr.Moore took on an active role in the kids' daily lives at breakfast, on the court, etc which was absolutely remarkable. As a parent, I have tremendous gratitude for his constant involvement and invaluable guidance on how to improve the kids' game. His professionalism exceeded my expectations as he remained fully hands-on while dealing with a personal matter at the time of our stay and the issue never became an impediment to his presence and engagement with the kids! The high quality tennis program was so inspiring to my kids not to mention they so enjoyed having the tennis stars John Isner and Samantha Stosur training/practicing on the premise. They still talk about them and so thrilled to have been able to talk and take pictures with these tennis stars!While my kids were at the camp, I also spent a few days attending the all day adults tennis clinic. The pros were energetic and knowledgable and made every minute of playing in the hot and humid weather fun and worthwhile. I got great pointers/corrections that have already made a difference. I even had the privilege of being observed and corrected by Mr.Moore with his eagle eyes that could see flaws in seconds! Invaluable advice/tips from him and his great team augmented by effective drills/practices made it a wonderful experience for me. Our stay at the resort was delightful. The hearty breakfast with rich selection of fresh fruits, omelets, etc served by the most friendly staff was a great start of the day for everyone. The big pool, golf carts,and other amenities allowed kids to have more fun with the new friends after the camp. There were also organized activities every evening for kids' entertainment and amusement. And the last but not the least, kudos to Allison in reservation. She was personable, informative, and patient answering so many questions. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay pleasant...In summary, our experience at Saddlebrook was fantastic and the fact that my children cannot wait to go back is a testament to the high quality of this great tennis camp!

Our kids spent 3 weeks at this camp and loved it. The coaching was challenging and well structured. The kids really enjoyed their coaches and got a lot out of the program. They're already asking if they can go next year and board for six weeks.

Did three days of the tennis camp for grown-ups and loved every minute of it. Was there off-season so wasn't crowded at all, which worked well for me. Humidity was treacherous, but so long as you stay hydrated it's manageable.Honestly I wish I had had the same pro for all three days, but understandable that sometimes that doesn't happen. Both guys were top-notch, though.FWIW I did three days in a row. I'd suggest if you're looking for more than two days, take a day off between the second and third day. I wish I had given my body a rest, and would have probably been able to have the same pro.Staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was good. Sean, who runs the program, was hands-on and attentive. Both pros, Steve and Oleg, both great.And now I can't wait to go back!

My 9 year old daughter had the time of her life, playing tennis for a week at Saddlebrook. The program is the best of the best, with outstanding coaches, awesome staff and director, an amazing opportunity for a young tennis player.

Tennis camp was very nice. Staff and other children were excellent. The programming was very good. Could probably use a little more focus on mental conditioning.

Trainers were great and staff very nice, great coaching from Tail, Howard and Samantha.Rooms were large and nice and pool was great

Junior tennis program for our son was outstanding. He looks forward to attending each year. My wife and I loved our one week stay.

I am 15 years old and have gone to Saddlebrook for three years now. I am absolutely in love with the program!! The tennis here is fantastic and the coaches are extremely helpful and supportive. I have a bulging disc in my back and it is hard for me to do certain things and Howard and Rick made up a whole program for me. They care about every player and they would do whatever it takes to maintain the good care of the players. I can't see myself going to another academy nearly as strong as Saddlebrook and I look forward to coming back next year!!
