This is a shallow and easy reef with lots of wildlife. I went diving with Horizon Divers and the captain gave a thorough dive site description. We saw a shark, hawksbill sea turtle, ray, grouper, hogfish, and so much more! We dove at the winch hole and another site on the reef. water was 75*F in February.

our guide was very informative about the fish and coral reefs we were seeing. It was nice to have the opportunity to have a drink on board, as well.

Took a glass bottom boat from w tickets purchased from the Holiday Inn gift shop. Enough room for everyone on board to actually see the reef as we hovered over it. The woman giving the lecture on the reef was so animated and informative. Definitely work the money. If you book on line, it is 5 dollars cheaper. If you are staying at a nearby hotel, 20% discount.

Went on the glass bottom boat that is docked next to the Holiday Inn. Took about 45 minutes to get to the reef. Lots of fish, stingrays, sea turtles. Crew was very informative. Take the sea sickness pills if you even think you might need them.

Worth going. The depths are shallow so you can stay down a good long time and the reef is beautiful. Competes with diving in Cozumel.

Best thing we did in key largo. Took a snorkeling boat from John Pennenkamp park. Beautiful reef, excellent day!

I've been on multiple dives around this reef system and have enjoyed the abundance of life and the bottom time.

Not deep, full of life, very entertaining. We hit this after a deeper wreck dive and spent sixty minutes wandering through the channels, seeing reef sharks, rays, groupers and lobster.

A fantastic reef with endless places to explore and creatures to meet. Get there early as the tourist snorkel and glass-bottoms crowd the site later in AM and into the PM.

We took a glass bottomed boat tour from John Pennekamp park. The tour out on the water was enjoyable and the view through the glass bottomed boat was very good and we say many fish species and coral.

Being this close to the birds at feeding time was enlightening! there is a very old but chipper talking parrot with whom you can have a good conversation.

This is the most over dove and stressed reef I have seen in years. It needs to be closed down to divers for several years so the corals have some chance of recovering. I dove here 30 years ago and it was covered with fish and healthy coral. Now most corals are dead or in poor shape and there is very little fish life. The companies that have polluted the Everglades and the officials that let this happen need to be held accountable.

Wow is all we could say after our visit to the reef on our Snorkeling trip. Never have I seen anything like this! I am so glad it has been preserved for everyone who can to experience the Reef. Unbelievable number of amazing fish and coral to see and experience.
