As a long time regular of this establishment, I was shocked to be told that there would be an up charge for gravy to go on my meal. Never been charged before, not five weeks ago or before. This item is not listed on the menu as a side, so therefore it must be considered a condiment ... With an up charge!Asked for the General Manager ... We're told that this has been the case for several months ... I just hate it when someone ... To my face!Food is a delight, but watch your wallet, it might get picked dry by the restaurant.

I didn't order any food, only beer, so I may have to submit and updated review if I ever return and the food turns out to be amazing. It's probably my new favorite spot around Mizner. It's not as crowed as most places and there seems to be a few older folks vs. all 20 somethings. The band was quite good and not so insanely amplified that all you hear is distortion. The best part was heading up the stairs. For most the time, it was just us two couples up there which was pretty nice.

A common man's restaurant near upscale Mizner Center in Boca Raton. Uhmpa Pa band in the parking lot with outdoor dining. Being an IPA lover I thought the beer menu was weak. If you like lagers, it might be okay. I was looking forward to a good German sausage. What I got was pretty pathetic! It was sized for "Mini Me", and not very tasty. My wife's mini sausage was equally pathetic. I ended up eating my mothers left over average Wienerschnitzel. The service was good. If you want overpriced dining with mini wursts, overlooking a parking lot, listening to German music, then this may be the place for you.

Went for the first time. A good happy hour menu. The wings are the best!!!! A great assortment of beers. Fun to sit outside.

Went during Oktoberfest celebration. Had a band walking throughout the restaurant playing some real nice and fun Polka music. I had the sauerbraten, and my wife had the schnitzel. Both of which were very good. Not being a drinker but I had to try a few German beers which were very good. Owner and chef both came over to the table to see how everything was and the servers were also very good and attentive. Bar was also very busy.Would recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat.

We have visited this popular hangout in Boca's Royal Palm Plaza on several occasions. It is always packed with happy customers, vibrant, and electrifying. The food is good but not great, although their sliders and gigantic pretzel starter are well worth ordering. The brats are good and their "American" fare is average, but the beer is their number one attraction. I always order the Warsteiner, although the Palm Belgium Pale Ale is excellent. We never doing the food to be truly authentic German, but who cares! The atmosphere is power-packed, the customers are always happy and Ina celebratory mood, and the evening entertainment at 9:00 is terrific. The initial service is slow, but the food arrives very quickly. Their Monday $1 brats and Wednesday $5 burgers are a hit, a and their us always something on the menu that will slake the thirst and satisfy the palate. We love it. And you will too.

We went there this past week and had a great experience. The food was great and authentic German cuisine. Waiter was attentive and food was delicious. Would definitely go back.

I saw the name and thought wow! A biergarten in Florida? The atmosphere is ok but not exactly what you would expect of a real biergarten. I ordered weiner schnitzel and it tasted pretty good. The hefeweizen was not too bad either. I will go again to try the pretzel and hope that it will not disappoint.

My husband and I have eaten here at least twice before, once on a particularly busy evening, but we didn't have any issues with the service or the food. Our experience was pleasant, other than the number of smokers who sit on the patio. However, our experience there this evening exceeded by far my worst dining experience I have ever had in my life. Insulting and infuriating. Oddly, it was not busy at all during peak dining hours and now I think it may be a result of the way this restaurant is managed. We ordered the pretzel as an appetizer and it never came until the food came out. Fine. No worries. My husband had ordered a bratwurst and I ordered the cobb salad, which according to the menu included grilled chicken, spinach, candied pecans, avocado, etc. However, I received a wedge salad with entirely different toppings other than grilled chicken. I debated as to whether I should say something to the server and finally ended up telling the server, when I caught him. I told him while pointing to a menu that I ordered a cobb salad. The server returned it to the kitchen and quickly brought out a huge plate of somewhat dry spinach with less chicken and no avocado. I mentioned to the server the next time he passed that the salad was missing avocado. His reply was that they were out of avocado. Basically deal with it, no apology. I said, "I wouldn't have sent the other salad back if I knew they couldn't make what I ordered according to the menu." No apology. A few minutes later the server returned to the table with a tiny ramekin with a tiny bit brown avocado, and said "we found some." I thanked him but refrained from eating it, as anyone would do if they saw it. We asked for the check and when it finally came it was rife with errors. We were charged extra for bier cheese, which we didn't request, and I was charged $17.50 for a wedge salad, again not ordered. We found another server and explained the situation. He took the check back inside for us but when our actual server returned, the bill was even longer than the first with several "comps" and a "10% discount" yet we were still we were overcharged by at least $7.00 - $8.00. I asked why we were charged $17.50 for the cobb when the menu said $12.00, aside from the fact that it was missing ingredients. He replied that the cobb was $13.00 and $5.00 extra for chicken, while pointing to the menu. I took the menu from him and showed him that the salad is $12.00 not $13.00 and it INCLUDED grilled chicken. Where and how he came up with that I don't know. He just made it up. He returned again inside with the check to the manager to fix the errors. No apology. My husband and I were wondering what is going on here and is a manager going to say anything to us? We waited quite a while. Each time the check was sent back it took 10 minutes for the server to to return. Finally, after waiting over twenty minutes for a proper bill, the server returned with a check that still wasn't correct but close to what the total should be. We signed the check and asked if we could possibly talk to the manager about what had transpired. It was insulting that we had to wait so long for them to fix their errors with no apology and have them debate with me as to what was on THEIR OWN MENU, when it was in front of his face. The manager eventually came out with a stern face and when I asked him why was there such an issue to fix the check. He replied that he fixed it so that it was close to what our total should be and proceeded to tell us what we had and added it up out loud and said we actually were discounted $0.89. I said, "the amount of time you made us wait, you should be paying us for our time. Thanks for the .89 cents." He made another comment with an undecipherable accent, but no apology. His demeanor was very abrupt and was as if I dare you to complain to me. I told him he was unfit to be in the restaurant business with an attitude like that and got up to leave. While leaving, I asked for his name (Thomas) and the name of the owner so that I could relay to him what transpired this evening. He said call tomorrow. Needless to say, we will never return and I would venture to guess that the business suffer with management like that.

Everything here was fabulous , the food , the cleanliness and the service . The pretzel is amazing , huge and delicious with 4 dips , 2 different mustards and 2 cheese sauces . Sauerbraten was delicious as was the pork shank and other dishes that friends had . Just as good as food we had in Germany .
