I took my grandson here on a fishing expedition - perfect spot for both of us! The jetty allowed him access to good fishing and the lovely beach was just right for me. You will enjoy it!

I visited here on a busy Sunday afternoon in February. There's very limited parking and there were many cars vying for any potential opening spot. I was told there's no street parking in the vicinity so I valet-parked my car at a nearby hotel, where I had dinner and a drink after my time at the beach. I would've done it differently had I known in advance. That said, the beach and inlet are very nice and the ocean was crystal clear and warmer than it was in the Abacos the preceding week. Despite being quite busy, the area was still pleasant and I enjoyed my time here.

Well kept facilities, easy parking & great views. Quiet end of beach, rode our bikes and stopped here often.... Saw a wedding take place on this beach as well.

Went there last month, this park is an excelent option if you want to have a nice quiet time. I didn't have any problems with park rangers. I got there and pay my parking time and spend all time swiming and relaxing.

Had very bad luck with park ranger. She was very rude. She had my husband so upset he had a seizure and we had to leave our vacation coming back home 3 days early. No need for a Park Ranger to be rude to guest.

This is a beautiful, well located and well maintained beach/park. They even have a sand wheelchair for the beach, which my 90 year young Mum loved! The life guards are professional!

We visited from Alabama 12 hours away. We lost our car keys and was trying to find them the ranger came shined flashlight in our eyes and told us we where traspsssing and the beach closed at 8:00 and it was a felony. She just keep threating us. A man that lived across the street said he lived there 17 years and walked the beach every afternoon and had no idea what she was talking about. She was very rude. It is sad to travel this far to be treated like a criminal. As we where looking for keys she was screaming you need to hurry. She was driving a park ranger Ford SUV. Short rude and loud. Our family does not recommend this to anyone. No visitor should be treated this way.

It was a pretty beach, a few surfers and swimmers in the water, numerous people walking along the beach picking up shells etc, u know the normal beach thing :) It was peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The currents seemed rather strong but there were lifesavers on duty. The view was pretty and the beach was long for a good walk/run. No places to get any snacks or things though so I'd advise bringing things along in a cooler if you do want something to drink/nibble on while you're there.Enjoyed it! :)

Had a photoshoot there for portrait pictures and it was a very peaceful, quiet beach during the weekday.

Be prepared to wait in a long line in season. There are limited parking spaces so get there early. A small fee for entry with clean bayhrooms

The water was so pretty & lots of folks were fishing. Great place to take the family. Lots of boats going out of the pass for night fishing. :)

Right at the end of Palmetto Park Rd. Plenty to do especially for the kids. They have a nice play ground that my kids always love going on before we leave. They also have a hot dog cart and for 5 bucks yo get a hot dog, bag of chips, and a soda or water.

So many of the beaches in South Florida to choose from and this on will not disappoint. Clean, clear water and nice views.

This is a very quiet and lovely beach. It has an hourly parking lot that fills up quick on weekends! Go early! $2 a hour on weekdays and $3 a hour on weekends. It's a large beach on the inlet. It's fun to watch the boats come and go! There is also a small reef right off the beach that many snorkel through. (I saw a large sea turtle!) Weekdays are very quiet and beautiful. Bathrooms are available, but no concessions. bring a cooler!

This is a good location because you can watch the boats go in and out of the inlet. It has all of the typical amenities that you would want on a beach.
