Walking the mile is a great way to burn off some calories after dinner or lunch. Miracle Mile is a great place for window shopping, eating, drinking, and people watching.

I must have been wearing my "rose-coloured glasses" looking for a mile-long stretch of fancy, inviting stores, shops and mini strip malls. We drove down this area and found it to be just a very "ordinary" street -- without any real eye-catching shops that had enough visual appeal from the outside to make us want to "stop & shop". Seemed like a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Perhaps we missed the boat by not parking and taking time to walk through this three-block stretch. And, perhaps, if we had known the historical background of the "Mile" dating back in time so many years ago, we could have appreciated it more.

There are lots of restaurants and places the shop along this road. The businesses are nice. This is a four-lane road parking on the street that is metered. Cost $.25 per 10 minutes for parking.

Located in the heart of Miami-Dade County this is one of the oldest local shopping strips in South Florida. The street known as Miracle Mile was part of the city's original layout back in the 1920's long before the word "shopping center" existed. It's three blocks long and it is packed with mostly local shops offering a more personal shopping experience. Over the past 10-15 years many national food chains have setup shop here, including Seasons 52, Houstons, Ruth Chris, Pizza Kitchen and Starbuks to name a few. There is ample city parking and street valet parking available. While walking the "Mile" you can go south or north one block and enjoy many additional small shops and restaurants. If you have the time visit the City of Coral Gables Museum on Aragon Ave. just one block south of MM and explore the history of this beautiful city.

The so-called Miracle Mile in Coral Gables has lots of wedding boutiques, restaurants, one Barnes & Noble, a rep theater, and a semi-interesting shop that specializes in spy equipment. That's essentially it. Unless you're looking for a wedding gown, don't plan on strolling around.

I don't travel to shop, so maybe I'm not the right person to be reviewing the Miracle Mile, but it wasn't anything special. It reminded me of home, but with more bridal boutiques. Parking is a bit crazy, so be patient if you intend to park on the main road.

Nice Boulevard. Difficult parking. Nice restaurants, but do have a reservation for the non-fast food ones.

When we first moved to Coral Gables, I thought Miracle Mile would be some kind of original, local gathering area, similar to Pasadena, California. Not. Miracle Mile is a manufactured (by two businessmen in the early 1900's), superficial strip of mostly bridal shops and so-so restaurants. In the summer, it is a ghost town. The heat and humidity make it a horrible place to just stroll around. In the winter, it is a tourist madhouse, especially on weekends. Although there are a handful of good restaurants, most are blah and the service, as with anything in Miami, is generally horrible. I would much rather go to Little Havana, Key West, or (heaven forbid) South Beach for real Miami experiences.

Miracle Mile is like a couple of blocks of a strip mall with a street running through it. There are a few nice restaurants but better ones located in the general Coral Gables area. The shops aren't great and if you come to Miami and miss going, you really haven't missed anything. If you're into a nice stroll down a street, with a certain degree of safety, it works but can't really say much more about it. Has lines of parking meters and for a quarter you get ten minutes. If you're going to dine or take a long walk, make sure you bring lots of quarters. I'm taking for granted you're going to find an empty meter in the first place.

There are many hidden gems on the mile as well as on the side streets. We walk to Miracle Mile since we live a few blocks away. We hit as many happy hours as possible since most sit down restaurants are a bit pricey. Our happy hour favorite spots are, Flemings, Bricktops, Bulla, Anthony's pizza, John Martin's, Cibo's. Fritz & Franz. Tarpon Bend. Red koi. Season's 52, morton's, Ruth Chris, the Bar, Local.

Maybe I'm jaded from extensive travel and living in southern California but this was a disappointment. It's just okay if you need to stroll safely in the evening with a bit of atmosphere. Several of the restaurants are mid-priced chains and the shopping is weak. It is overstated to be called a "miracle".

Unless you're about to get married... There's nothing so special to be seen in Miracle Mille. This little space located on Coral Way has a lot of bridal stores and some restaurants. You also may visit it for it's historical reference but it's not a place to be on your top list of things to do.

Miracle mile is always great for a variety of eating drinking joints and thats about it. I didn't find anything special about it. Theres a Barnes n Noble on that strip which is a good time pass with a book n coffee. No shopping areas so don't expect to go shopping there. Its just OK one time visit. Miami trolley goes there so take that for a good trip via Coral Gables houses, shops, train station etc.

One of the amazing things about Miracle Mile is how old it is. Miracle Mile has been around for what it seems like to be as forever! Miracle Mile is for all those Classy-Bar-Night-Life-Seekers and for Hipsters who like riding there skateboards and bikes to the nearest cafe! The Strip of what it Miracle Mile is clad in Bars, Restaurants, Cafes, some Clothing Stores, and very popular Wedding Boutiques!

You can check actual distance on Google maps - it is 0,5 mile. So both sides together make a "mile" distance. This posh, central Coral Gables passage is flanked with palm trees and filled with expensive restaurants, boutiques and wedding salons. Fine place to spend Sunday afternoon and spend huge amounts of money. You know what's the miracle? When you walk both sides and don't spend any money at all.
