We picked over 7 lbs of strawberries and ate every last one within a few days. Red all the way through and amazing flavor. We are waiting for the fields to dry to go back to pick more.

Being transplanted Northerners, my husband & I have missed the late summer & autumn months where we could drive to a local farm & pick-your-own (apples, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, etc). We were pleasantly surprised when our friend Sandra told us about this farm on Friday & today, Sunday, we went. What a great time we had!! The Hornbuckle family was there greeting everyone & explaining that the picking season goes from now until April. They grow four varieties of Florida strawberries. If you're in the area, stop in for a great time!! Here's all the info: Phone: 772-494-0714 Web Site: http://www.hornbucklefamilyfarms.com Facebook.com/hornbucklestrawberries
