probably shouldn't hold it against the course the wind was blowing 25-30 mph the entire round, the fact the greens were slow & hard didn't help. course is wide open so it's playable from that perspective however there are a lot of small water hazards that run across fairways and along the side of them that catch a lot of balls if you're not familiar with the course. management should instruct their employees if customers are on the tee hitting you shouldn't go blowing by them in a loud tractor, always thought the proper thing was to wait until people are done playing. I paid $50 for my round which for the most part isn't bad in Florida in the winter but would consider it a $30-35 round of golf.

I played Cypress Tues 2/24 ,left my Garmin watch in the cart.I called at 7:20 tues evening and left a message at the pro shop with my name and number. My friend who lives nearby stopped wed morning and inquired at the pro shop and the starters desk and unfortuneately had no luck. We played Oaks thr 2/26 at noon and I thought I would give it one more shot. I asked the starter if anyone turned in a black Garmin watch and he said it's been on a shelf in the cart storage for two days. When he went to retrieve the watch it was gone.I just can't understand why I never received a phone call. It would not take alot of time to check. I realize it's a busy time of year but I'm very disappointed in Palm Aire's customer service. Even though I enjoyed both courses I probably will not return. Daniel Cupelo Syracuse NY

The location is great and is one of 3 courses. It is the weak sister of the other 2 (Cypress and the Oaks). The fairways are sparse and greens are very basic but do roll true. If you get this at a discount for $25-30 with cart (ie golfonline) then fine but is not worth the full rate with so many other great courses in the area.

The remodeling makes for a spanish appearance, the tiles and the cut coral are beautiful. The golf courses are well kept. They have plenty of parking. The club house is modern, The dinning room is elegant, the food is good. I enjoy the facility.

I am currently still at the Wyndham Palm Aire resort and have played the Palms and Cyprus courses so far as the Oaks has just had the greens airiated and Inwas advised to wait a few days prior to playing it. The Palm is quite open with only 3 holes that I would describe as tight. The greens are in good shape and not overly fast. The Cyprus course is definitely the more interesting of the two courses, tighter fairways and more water hazards in play. Both corses are in remarkably good condition considering all the recent thunderstorms and heavy downpours. The real bonus is at this time of year, for people staying at the Wyndham, the fee from 2pm is $16 + 99 cents tax, yes, this includes the cart! Back home in the UK, you will not get a cart for that (they're not allowed on my home links course but on all the other courses that I've played around the UK, carts generally start at around $30 per round, even in Thailand, they're more expensive, so, all in all, this is a great place to stay and play.

Palm Aire Country Club has a variety of golf courses to choose from. The Palms Course has just been redone and is in excellent condition. All the greens are large and in great condition.

Played the Cypress course for a golf outing associated with a business meeting. The course was in great shape, especially considering all of the recent rain. Greens in good condition and fairways lush. Staff was friendly and helpful. Carts were pretty new. Don't know about price, it was rolled into the costs of the event. Fun golf course. Not complicated.

This was my first trip to Florida and playing Florida courses. My son and I were staying at the Wyndham vacation resort right night next to the Palms course. I had a free Saturday while he stayed with a friend so I decided to play some golf. I was able to a early tee time at about 7 ish, I think I was the 2nd group out. My first stop was the Cypress course because I was told it was the hardest of the 3 courses. And in my opinion it was the harder of the 3. But not super hard. The facilities are average nothing spectacular. I thought the facilities were kinda small for having to courses right next to one another. Carts were typical nothing to brag about. They do come with divot sand. I wasn't a big fan of where there bag drop area is, it made for a lot of extra walking. The driving range is ok. It had decent grass tee boxes hitting into a pond. They have a nice chipping bunker next to driving range. The course it self is very green and well kept. Lot's of houses and building with a lot of trees obstacles. Tee boxes are very nice and greens were in pretty good condition. There's a bathroom with soda machine between holes 4 and 12. They said they had a beverage cart person but I did not see one on the course. The next course I played was the Oaks because it's right there. I only played 9 holes of this course but it was very nice. Very green same as Cypress but not quite as hard. I kinda played a speed round and just flew through it so I don't have much to say about this course. Finally I played the Palms course which is located directly across from the Palm-Aire Resort. This course of the 3 was by far the easiest to play. I liked this one because it was by far less busy. I was able to take my time and on a few holes even hit a couple balls just for some extra practice. Like the others it has houses and buildings all around. There driving range was kinda weak. But If you don't want to rush and deal with impatient people this is the course I would recommend out of the 3. All the courses are well kept and green. I would definitely play these courses again if I were to ever go back to Pompano. I was just happy I didn't have to drive all over to play some golf.

We had a great time on this well maintained course. The price was right at the end of April! The staff on the golf course were friendly and helpful.

We are Club Link members so decided to try out both these courses this week. We played Cypress after 1:30 on Saturday. Staff in club house were helpful getting us set up with rentals and fixing a reservation error. Cypress was in pretty good condition. Typical florida golf course....flat and surrounded by lots of condos. The Cypress course was pretty narrow so wasn't my husband`s favorite. It didn't have much water either so nothing very different about the holes. Was a bit annoyed that we never saw a Marshall and the game took well over 4.5 hours to play. On the ffront nine, there were two twosomes that should have joined together but didn't. One twosome got off after the 1st nine so things sped up a bit. Good condition fairways and greens. On Monday am, at 8:15 am we played the Oaks. Much nicer in our our opinion. Fairways were larger, condos set further back, more water on the holes but nothing intimidating. We were done in 3.5 hours...excellent time. It was a good start to our first "rusty" games of the season.Note: We played Heron Bay on the Friday, 1st round...and it was in really poor shape. They have not really done much to improve it since we last played it 2 years ago. If you don`t know...it also has over 100 sand traps...so if that isn`t your thing, think twice!!Don`t think I will ever book that one again. Conditions were really below average, especially when the courses at Palmaire were in much better condition so "weather", "drought" is not an excuse. Our friends also played the new Club Link course addidtion, Eagle Trace...and said it was very nice, the nicest of all the ones we played. Also...very good pace of play. The expect you to play under 4 hours.

We played three times in a week at this course, primarily because we were right next door and enjoyed a significant discount through the Wyndham Palm Aire Resort. Carts not allowed into the parking lot, so you pretty much have to use the club employee to take your clubs and set up your cart, which I, personally, dislike. The starter was pleasant and efficient all 3x, and we actually went off early. The course is challenging but not so difficult that you feel discouraged. We played with another twosome on each occasion, and finished in 4 hours. The course was in good shape, and we were not bothered by mowers or groundskeepers ever, so I don't know when they did their groominng!

Always a pleasure playing here. It was a bit crowded but the pace was just a little over 4 hours ... NICE!!! Greens were in great shape as well. Play here and you will enjoy yourself.

nice wide fairways and challenging greens. rental clubs were very high quality (taylor-made). as we were staying at the nearby wyndham, the greens fees were 1/2 price....wife and i played for about $100.00 including cart and clubs....a really good deal and this is a beautiful course!

I play here pretty regular, prices are great off season, cypress course usually in good shape. A couple of the greens are under repair but overall not bad. I recommend giving them a try if you're in the area. I like the cypress course but oaks is also a good change
