This has long been part of our Vermont tradition. Grabbing a an eclectic lunch from The Vermont Country Deli and heading to the picnic tables at the top of the slope is a perfect compliment. We have been here in all four seasons, all of them amazing. Years ago we joined the locals on a sleigh ride. The top affords a great panoramic view of the surrounding area. In the fall the colors are breathtaking, in the winter the snow covered landscape is awe inspiring. It is a comfortable and easy part of a day in Brattleboro.
