We stopped on the way home from ski vacation. The kids enjoyed seeing the process of cheese making. The staff was warm and welcoming, but the most amazing thing was the cheese. It is so good and there's free tasting. We bought 6 different types of cheese in a beautiful wooden box.A must stop if you're in the area.

Free self-guided tour of the cheese factory and museum to learn the history of the Plymouth Cheese Factory and how it had been in the Coolidge name for generations. The free tour and museum entry also includes free tastings and a free viewing of cheese being made! Also on the property is the Coolidge Homestead that adds value and history for those interested.

We really liked all the flavors of cheese they had to sample. It was hard to pick just one to purchase - so we didn't! It's fun to see the cheese maker at work using the old family recipe from the 1800's. It's definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

We arrived on a Thursday expecting to see cheese being made, only to be told that nothing was being done as they were preparing for a food show in New York. There was no indication on the website that this was the case. Furthermore, the person in the shop essentially dismissed us because she was too busy preparing for the food show in the "city". Good Luck, we won't be back.

This place is in Plymouth Notch, VT NOT Plymouth NH. The street address and zip code are correct. We were looking for attractions near Plymouth NH and once we went to the attraction's web site, the error became apparent. We did NOT visit the Cheese Factory

We stopped at the Calvin Coolidge Historical Site, and had a wonderful time. The fall colors were in full bloom, and the historical artifacts were fascinating. The most important one, though, was the Plymouth Cheese Factory. This factory dates from the 1800s, and was in the Coolidge family for a long time. We went in, and sampled some of the cheeses. We fell in LOVE with the Hunter cheese. We came back a few days later and bought a few pounds to bring back with us. We will be buying more online until we can visit again...then, it will be time to stock up!

We toured the Pres. Calvin Coolidge Historic Site and the Cheese Factory is located right next door to the homestead.Upstairs at the Cheese Factory there is an exhibit of equipment used to make cheese in many days past. Downstairs you get to see the contrast with today's cheese making equipment. The shop is where you can taste various cheeses as well as purchase some. At this shop you can also purchase maple syrup, candies, and more. They also have tours though we didn't take one.You wouldn't need much time at the cheese factory, but 2-3 hours or more would be good for the whole historic site and exhibits.
