This little store at Stratton packs a great selection of interesting, unusual beads and ready-made jewelry into a small space. The staff seems to love what they do, helping customers find the perfect choices. I went there with my daughter just hoping to find some beads and supplies to repair a piece she already had, and they were extremely helpful. We wound up buying a new pair of earrings too because they were beautiful and a very good value. It would be a fun activity for different ages when not skiing.

While vacationing in Stratton Mountain we were looking for something the whole family could do together off the snow. We were disappointed to find that the pottery place we had gone to years ago was no longer there so we decided to try Just Bead It. Our group consisted of two couples in their 30’s, a 5 year old, and a 14 year old. It took a while for everyone to choose a project but the staff was very patient and helpful. The projects can get expensive so you may want to price out all your supplies before starting. The store also sells ready to wear jewelry some of which is handmade. In addition, they have a large assortment of the popular “Troll Beads”. It may be a little too pricey to go more than once but this place was a fun alternative for a family friendly activity.
